Strategic Decision lead to tailored missions centering on recovering or winning territory
Scandinavia Strategic Decision includes missions to reconquer the Danelaw provinces, expand control of the British Isles and reclaim Normandy
Christian nations can receive missions to Defend Christendom if a Muslim state holds lands in Iberia, Italy or the Balkans. Muslim nations can receive missions to Defend Islam if a Christian state holds lands in the Maghreb, Egypt or the Levant
Christian nations who control Jerusalem get a mission to conquer Mecca and Muslim nations get a mission to liberate Mecca if it is controlled by a Christian
Missions to restore ancient borders of Georgian, Armenian, Bulgarian, Eastern Roman and Western Roman empires
Most nation state unification missions contain unique text and descriptions (see graphics for details)
New missions for French, German, Italian, Spanish, Scandinavian, Georgian, Armenian, Bulgarian, Illyrian, South Slavic, West Slavic, East Slavic cultures; Papal State, Eastern Roman and Western Roman nations; Christian and Muslim nations.
