Prebuit 04... what works inside, what doesnt
Ok.. so far..

Floor 1:
Most items place on this floor.

Floor 2 and 4:
Medieval structures places
Medieval Tavern places
Kronos trade center does NOT place
Ark Advance items do NOT place
Steampunk mod does NOT place
Mysterious Mysteries does NOT place
Advance Architecture decorative items do NOT place

Per Alley_Killa.. some mods MAY work depending on how they are setup.. so I am testing the mods my server has, and listing which ones work on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

I would love to hear back from everyone else about other mods that do and dont work

Anything that can be placed on the actual ground will work on all 3 floors. I have tried to ensure all my pieces are compatible. Not sure why wc thinks you can't build a table and put it on the ground.

Best thing to do is to reach out to other mod authors and ask them to set items.
  • Allow placement on ground
  • Take anything as ground

The issue arises in the fact that I can't make all three floors "foundations." I have them set as structure floors, but ark doesn't recognize that distinction.

Ah yeah... then I know quite a few mods that should work, will test and list them.

I have done a great deal of mod testing over the last year, and know exactly what you are referring to.

@Alley_Killa I can not reach out to @iSpezz about his mods placement within this house, due to some issues between him and me. He has blocked me. I wont get into details, as I am hoping to eventually resolve those issues.

Any chance you could drop him a line about it?

These are his mods in relation to this issue:
Ark Advance items do NOT place
Steampunk mod does NOT place
Mysterious Mysteries does NOT place

Unfortunately, this does not resolve the placement of vanilla ark items (like the chair.. maybe you could add one of your own?)

I would really love to see you be able to do more in the area of prebuilt structures, and not be limited to 1 floor.

This helps. It just seems like some vanilla items won't work, but i'll have to double check. I'll check up with a few things from various mods, and i'll download your Medieval Tavern mod, too. Hopefully it wont conflict with the Pub Mod i'm running.

Not a problem at all. I went ahead and changed that for the pedestals, braziers, furniture and decorative items that go on the floor for the next patch. I thought I had done that already a while back but only some things were already set that way.

Great to hear. I belive I can get a chair in. Will go into the tavern mod though as it doesn't fit much here.

We started using this mod in conjunction with several of the Eco mods. Many of those items won't place on second level of prebuilt structures. I haven't checked much yet, as I'm still getting a feel for the mods. Also, saw the recent fixes, does that mean I can repair the Inn now? Tried several times but it refused to repair, so I'm attempting a hybrid build for now.

Something updated recently for me. I'm not logging into the server I play on until the server host updates. much testing to do. A bit sad saddles were set to default....Wen't well with high level dino mod :)
