It's s bit obscure, but simple:
First you have to add the main weapon that will appear in the weapon menu. Add it. Then in the new weapon menu, select the next weapon you want to add. Make it not appear in the weapon selection menu, bind the attack1 (and/or 2) of the weapon you added before and then press the add button. If you have questions, ask.
I might have to make a video tut on this.

pls help me get the point across that we need 5x and 25x ammo boxes to the devs when you can. The more people request this, the better.

The devs probably left the project already. It's been a while this mod has been around.

I just realized I got it backwards - first add the secondary weapon, make it not visible and then do the binding with the next one.
The addon being around for a while isn't really an argument to be abandoned per se. But it does seem like the devs are kinda passive.
