EU Vehicle Pack Development Announcement!! Please Read!
Going to put some more focus on overhauling my EU vehicles addon. It's currently the one project out of everything I have up that has the most need for an overhaul. Ive been slowly releasing redone imports of a lot of the models I was previously using for the pack. Im putting a focus on high quality collision models to reduce performance hits on vehicle spawn. Im also experimenting with LOD support to optimize my models at a distance. Ive also taken the extra step of including mini versions of each model to be used for things like holograms and pointshop stuff. Once all the models are done and released I intend to move on to the coding side of things and make use of all the new features that have been released by Liam in the past three months. Ive been playing with several ideas for additions to the vehicles base for a LONG time and Im thinking this will be the perfect time to start to tackle a handful of these ideas. For example, preset hyperspace locations instead of the current /quickjump/ method and introducing several client side options to optimize the visual experience of the vehicles. Once I get to the coding side of things I would love some input on the things Im releasing to help me improve.

Cool I love the LAAT/C in this mod its from attack of the clones it tranpsorts teh AT TE's.

With the recent AT-TE you can make it work. Just no-collide the LAAT/C, move the AT-TE underneath it in position, weld the two together and take off. I might have to add it takes a fairly skilled pilot to do so, even with this vehicle base. However once off the ground, just move to your desired location and undo the weld to deliver the tank

Ive tried for many hours to make it work with a lot of deffrent addons it didnt work.

can there be a capital ship npc that just sits there and fire its weapons at you it shouldnt be to much work i just thought it would be great to have for rp and just plain ol fun (also lets say its a star destroyer and it can only shoot up so when your rping it wont decimate the map more of stop fighters from escaping or ship combat)

The new vehicle base will have NPCs automatically made. As developers we will be able to customize the functionality of these npcs or just allow them to perform pre-programmed stuff like shooing/flying around. The hope is to be able to capital ship npcs be able to release npc fighters.

Cant wait to see progress on it i really hope this project dosn't die one day this mod will be a must have for star wars vehicles! and finally we can get a way to recreate capital ship fights, Good Luck Servius!
