ARK FPS BOOST ​
(While off-game)
​- Go to your Library on Steam
- Find ARK: Survival Evolved
- Right click ARK and click on Properties
- Then click on "Set Launch Options..."
- Insert -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10
- Click OK
* This will allow your game to access all of your PC's cores. If you have more than two cores available, this will substantially increase your performance! It then tells the game to run with ShaderModels4, and to run in DirectX10 instead of DirectX11.
(While in-game)
- Press Tab
- Type r.bloomquality 0
- Press Enter
- Press Tab
- Type r.lightshafts 0
- Press Enter
- Press Tab
- Type r.shadowquality 0
- Press Enter
* This will decrease how bright the sun reflects off of different things throughout the game! Very useful unless you prefer to be blinded. >:P
