This is a wonderful mod, and in fact so good, that it's loss, because it is not updated, is a game ruining experience. This mod maker used NON-STANDARD FILE TYPES, so as to make the community completely unable to at least update this mod to the next patch. While I must compliment the Maker for an excellent mod. I also must define them as VERY selfish and disruptive, because they used by intent a file type in the mod, that can not be read and updated, by others who are willing to do the update for the absente author of this mod. Steam would greatly improve their site by ABSOLUTELY and UNCONDITIONALLY REQUIRING ALL MODS to be STRUCTURED SOLELY WITH FILE TYPES which are unencrypted, and UPDATABLE by any and ALL Enthusiasts here on Steam. When an author submits a MOD, they are already admitting that they were dependent on that very condition for their ability to make the MOD !!!!! ITS CALLED OPEN SOURCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! So why are they suddenly allowed to make an item like the YAMATTO BATTLE SHIP, ENCRYPTED, and PROPRITERY to themselves alone. This is already not their proprietary content. The Yamatto is Copywrited as a Story character. They did not invent the YAMOTTO. So they can not be allowed to play a game with the Community called, "Here it is ! Don't you just love it ? Now watch this, I can take it away any time I want !" Wooooowa !!! No way.... That is almost a Slander of the Story Content of Star Blazers, because they are connecting intentionally Negative associations (VIA DEPRIVATION IN A GAME RUINING MANNER). They may not be aware they did this, but I think the fact that the files are by intent not EDITABLE, is a direct assertion that they do intend to negativly impact this game, the Steam web site, and the Star Blazers Comercial Immage.

I have made permanent off line copies of the Authors information and this "AgeOfTheHugeWarship" Mod file for the Star Point Gemini 2 Game and Community mod site. Simple Universial rules can be improved here very easily, and as a courtesy to both the Steam Community, and The Creators of The Star Blazers Story. Steam should not just erase this mod. Absolutely not. Making the Game better is the entire pupose of any mod. Bait and Switch Deprivation has a serious impact on quality. I for one want this Repaired, and absolutely do not want it erased. That would be even a worse insult to the gaming community than posting a mod with encrypted files in it... Steam please honor the money we support you with and require this Mod to be properly updated with universally editable files. Also Please, I emplore you all at Steam to make this a standardized requirement for ALL MODS... If it is a payware MOD, then please require that notification, that the MOD is still available, but as payware. Moreover, please do not allow MODS to start out as FREEWARE, and then to BE ((((BAIT & SWITCHED)))) into PAYWARE as soon as people start using it. Otherwise Dishonest MODDER's will use this tactic to hold gamers hostage, by BREAKING THE SAVE GAMES... Save games can represent hundreds of hours of work towards a goal, and that can all be hijacked and held hostage by dihonest coders who set up players to have to (( PAY )) to ransome thier SAVE GAMES... This can get seriously out of control, so lets cut to the chase and make it all straight forward and honest...
