Majestic Majesty .10
For those who wish to revert back to a more stable version, I'd highly recommend using this link given by Namington, an individual who's proven to be a resourceful member of our wonderful community.

You should just have to extract this into your mod folder, a fairly straight forward process. But if you have any questions regarding it, just ask and we'll do our best to help you.

Edited the link to match Namington's current.

I still don't know what was wrong with the version amantalado gave us, but I managed to find a previous version of 0.10 that I had which I have confirmed works on multiple computers. I've un-shared the broken version, but I do still have it in case anyone needs or wants it for some reason.

Updated the file so you don't need to unsubscribe from the workshop version to tell which mod is which.
I extracted it into the workshop folder but it doesn't appear in the game.

it does not go in the workshop folder. It goes in the mods folder, as stated above. In my case, it's Documents\My Games\MajestyHD\mods

Any idea where the mods folder is on Linux via SteamPlay/Steam Proton? There's nothing in the /home/{username}/Documents folder

I don't know. Presumably it's wherever your save data is.

I don't know where that is, either. I'll do some research and see if I can figure out where Steam considers Proton's Documents folder to be.

I haven't experimented with mods on this game ever, so I was excited to see these features. While I'm still learning what this particular mod has to offer I must say the wizards seem incredibly weaker than the original design. My main issue with them is their response time to monsters. While it says my wizard is "fighting" I see him standing around waiting to get killed. When he does attack it seems like he has to process what he's going to do next after one spell. It's not fluid. I hope this can be fixed by the developer as I am really anxious to see the wizard's new spell tree in action. I look forward to seeing what else this mod has in store, but as of right now, I don't see any good reason to actually recruit wizards for any occasion until their response time is fixed. They seem like a money pit with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Also, can we donate to the developer? Don't want him to think his work goes unappreciated.

I found an answer online to my question, and thought I'd share it, here, so that other people could see: Steam Proton creates a new WINE Prefix for each game, putting it in steamapps/compatdata/[appid]/pfx/ with [appid] being the game's application ID number in Steam.
Saved games and other relevant files can be found within the prefix specific to the relevant game.

This means that, since I store the "steamapps/" folder in "/media/username/Games/Steam for Linux Library/", I can find my saves and mods for Majesty Gold HD in "/media/username/Games/Steam For Linux Library/steamapps/compatdata/73230/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/MajestyHD".

I hope this helps other people using Steam Proton.

There isn't a way currently to support the mod or amanatalado with currency, but we thank you deeply for even considering it. Truly, this is an amazing community.

Thank you for your contribution Radiant Rainbow! I honestly was at a loss as to what was the problem. I currently work at a factory and thus my time can be limited at times.

Where is the mod folder? I cannot seem to find it in [C:\Program Files (x86)steam\steamapps\common\Majesty HD] The majesty game files
