Manufactured synth pops appear to lose all racial traits except synthetic.
The traits chosen for your race during character creation are applied to the initial population you start the game with, but every time I build a new pop it doesn't have any of them, and shows up as a new race in the contact screen.

This leads to several problems. You can't take the adaptable trait to compensate for the lact of ability to colonize any environment (which basic robots have but not the android race). You can't have your androids be better than normal at a favored brand of science, or mining, or warfare. And you can't change your leaders' lifespan to anything between baseline and totally immortal.

Was this intentional, or is it a bug? If bug, is it only affecting me for some reason or have others seen it?

Im having a similar problem where all robots I build lose robot habability and only have 10% on all planets :,(

I had the same issue here, and thus uninstalled the mod. I was using Extended Traits mod as well, if that has any bearing upon it... it's the mod that is mentioned to be c ompatable.

any word if this is intentional or a bug? and if it is a bug any idea for a fix?
