Balancing Discussion [Please post & discuss suggestions here!]
Hi all,

So it's pretty clear from the mod's description what the mod is trying to do. Now that I've made the mod publicly available, the question is:

How well can I get it to do just that?

The mod is called "Better Vanilla Attila." I want the mod to remain faithful to vanilla mechanics, while targeting some of the gamey silliness I described back on the main page.

Thus, I'm open to any and all suggestions on fine-tuning, as long as they stay within the scope of what I've already done.

So let's use this thread to discuss how I can tweak the mod's most current version.

Thanks in advance!

I see few tweaks done to ports, in which case it would be reasonable to remove or tone down the public order penalties but retain squalor values.
Tier 2 ports still generates -2 public order and squalor, and tier 3 does -4.
I just don't see how fishing an commerce can irritate the public.
I don't really remember the original values right now, but I think those are untouched or at least calls for tweaking IMO.
I didn't manage to find any change description on the main page of your mod, so I assume you didn't adjust the values for ports.
If I missed it, then please, accept my apology, otherwise maybe you can consider making changes to ports.

Whoa! Are you sure? Did you see this in the .pack file itself, or did you just look at it in-game?

I just reviewed all these yesterday when I put out v1.2. Would be weird to have missed it. Checking now...

Have a look. I'd explain what each row means a little more, but I'm late for dinner! Haha.

Doesn't appear to be a problem though.

Hmmm, then I think the problem is on my end.
Perhaps mods conflicting with each other is the cause.
Sorry to bother, I'll check it out later.
Keep up the good work.
