I am making this post to explain to anyone interested or confused about the larger changes to mechanics / balance changes and reasoning is more appropriately described / discussed under their own topics. Explaining the changes and discussing them does not work in comments as they get buried awfully quickly and I end up having to repeat myself over and over again.

Firstly I thank you for your interest in my mod and appreciate your suscriptions. However, please keep in mind that, while it may sound simple, the changes I have instituted are very much interrelated and asking me to change one thing will probably affect two other things that would also be changed causing the mod to deviate from its intended goals.

While I understand the desire for a purely aesthetic mod, in the interests of mod compatibility, and to allow the use of balance change mods as well, I don't think I will change the modifications that I made in that regard. The two changes that most people want reverted are the weapon range changes and the weapon cooldown changes. I will discuss each in its own post and explain why I am reticent in ceding to peoples requests.

What I will say is this, I may not want to make these changes, but any aspiring modder is more then welcome to use my modifications for their own mod with any balance change they would like. I don't even demand that you give me credit but would appreciate it if you link my mod in your mod description as the inspiration for your mod.

It's not that I am lazy or simply do not want to do what people have asked of me, but that I have a very busy schedule and I want to have a tiny bit of spare time to actually play the games I enjoy not just mod them. I have a wife, two kids and obviously I also have a job (That is very flexible, thankfully. I am my own boss of a small business).

So please enjoy my mod but do not make demands of me. If you really must have certain things changed that are compatible with my mod, you are welcome to make your own version of Beautiful Battles as mentioned above and linking my mod for exposure. Thoughtful feedback is always appreciated and I like to consider myself an open minded person, but that doesn't mean I will always agree with the assessment and if I have any doubts I will test things first before coming to my conclusion.
