I think that it must put corpses or another map elements on fire (like its show on the SFM) But if it´s going to kill the hitbox would be too small at least they make the flame a little larger

Maybe Valve will make it ignite a single tile and if someone goes through it it sets them on fire.

Ehh, Valve is not one for adding payed taunt kills into the game.

Well, Rock Paper Scissors is a taunt that can kill. And you have to pay to have it (unless you trade or get it in a drop)

if this animation have a taunt kill pubs will be full of detonator jump piros trying to make an epic tauntkill

It'd be pay2win, especially with the ledges part. Stand above a chokepoint/spawn and just taunt over and over
