Now, I understand the problems everybody faced here. And it's best to point out some flawed arguements/motives by the author made to keep this broken model up to the public.

1. Original doesn't mean good.
Now, yes. This is your original model. That doesn't mean the rigging is not flawed or broken. Pre-rigged models, or customs made by an experienced bone rigger are actually more functional than those made by model makers with little to no experience concerning rigging.

2. Give it up, buddy.
I know why you don't want to remove this. You've put so much time and effort onto this model. You don't want to make that time go to waste, right? Well, it would be much more worth it if you could just remove this for a little while, and put a little more effort in both bone rigging and texturing. If you rush something to your heart's content, you may think you are done, but the community will think otherwise.
