I would like to ask why the Jedi Order will become a complete faction since they are only a couple of thousand Jedi and more a socitety then an Empire

I'm sorry I forgot to reply to you. My bad. Well, we planned on making as many factions as possible. As example later on add the Jedi order and the Sith empire. They're both a couple of thousand each but they were both powerful factions. Hence we decided to add them at some point in time. Again I apologize for forgetting to reply to you.

as soon as I finish the first models. That being the first cation to be added will be the Republic. This will hopefully happen fairly soon.

The Sith and Jedi weren't called that, the correct and official names are "The Sith Empire" "The Galactic Republic" I guess since GR were named the same in both eras you could slap a [TOR] next to it.

well the jedi are not part of the republic just its protectors they excisted way before the republic was formed

and the jedi order did control and help form the early stages of the Republic. When the Republic became more and more non force users the Jedi Order had more of a hands off approach where they owned land on many Republic Planents for Outposts and Training facilities
