Hi!

Played this map a few times on Casual, DM and Custom, all against Expert bots. I can really see why this map my be known as "iconic", "memorable" or "nostalgic". It flows well, its fun to play, and the setting is a bit unique.

I havent played much Killzone. Me and my father completed KZ2 and KZ3 on the PS3 years ago, and I once tried to complete KZ2 on my own only to be frustrated by the controls, crappy aim assist and bad level design and quit during the first mission. I also never got to try out the MP. But that doesnt really matter now.

As for the map...

First impressions are excelent - it works nicely in CS. It's interesting to see a Defusal map with only 1 bomb point (It also works great on my rather underpowered laptop, so that's awesome. I ran it on min settings btw.

However I am concerned that, against real players in casual/comp, the two ways of crossing may lead to AWP-offs which may be frustrating for the team that can't buy AWPs because they are losing, which leads into the next point...

My only two complaint. That there are some issues with visibility, especially around staircases. Players tend to really blend in there, and also on the "CT" side balconies of the middle area. I can send you a screenshot of where there are issues, if you are interested. As for the other complaint, the lower crossing of mid is one hige chokepoint with almost no cover or ways to move around, and I'm not sure if grenade bouncing would help, and the top crossing is very exposed to snipers. This could be an issue in the Defusal mode.

I also have an idea for the custom mode - it would be cool if the starting weapon for it was the R8 Revolver. If I remember correctly, the sidearm you got during the first mission of KZ2 was a revolver. Im not sure if that would replicate the MP side or be balanced, but it might be cool.

So, in effect, all the map needs is some better lighting, better visibility and maybe more color, and it'll be amazing.

That's basically it. Hope this helps shape the map into something even better, if you are still working on it.
