Edit reason: Fixed some lecture weirdness.
If I remember correctly, Felix made it possible to obtain materials usually collected from caves via the stone and gold statue vending/crafting menus. You should be able to craft anything regardless of having caves or not. Is this information helpful? (if not, please go into more detail about which crafting recipes you are having trouble with.)
The zachaire statue doesn't sell any cave related items, and thulecite zachaire statue actually needs thulecite for craft it and sell cave related items.
Also, a very minor bug, when you wear a hat with Pablo and he looks up, his head seems more moved rightward
In that case I'll have to talk to Felix about a fix for that. Perhaps by slightly increasing the chances of getting thulecite from tumbleweeds or something along those lines.
I'll try to look into the visual bug as well, though I'm not sure what I can do for that since that likely has to do with the animation. I'll see if I can fix it.
This is cause those items are very powerful. The endgame/last tier of equipment and I want it to be hard to obtain. There's nothing on the surface world that's "hard" to obtain unless you want me to start using boss mob drops as ingredients for the items, which I don't want to do.
Allowing players to get Thulecite from the shop without ever actually getting Thulecite from the ruins completely ruins the sequence break and challenge of the ruins, and I don't want that.
Any of the cave level exclusive crafts aren't exactly required, they're luxury items made for end game goals to achieve. Sorry.
I was able to make caves! Sadly I reset the world
I can make a single player down the line. I'd have to carve out all the multiplayer protocol functions in the mods files, and change some of the recepites. That will come after we finish making Zacharie and The Batter though.
Not 100 sure.
