ST:NH Statement
It has never been our policy to comment on posts made outside our community or look to insult or belittle other people’s hard work. Behind every mod there is a team of people working hard for the enjoyment of others and we’ve always believed in working with others and building a community who want to share and learn. However recently the term thieves has been levelled against us and this is something we reject strongly

Our policy at PDG has always been, that everything uploaded to the mod by our devs belongs to the STNH mod, this protects the mod and ensures that it can continue through inevitable personnel changes. Since the teams expanded we have had a written policy that states we share assets, code, 3D amongst all of our projects - the idea being we create an environment of cooperation , trust and the best possible mods for PDG, and in exchange all of the services PDG offer are shared with our mods. This has never been something we have hidden nor something we are ashamed of

Lastly, since the mod was first released we have had a mixture of approaches to securing 3D models, some were created by members of the team past and present, who all accepted the policy mentioned above, other times a model is created outside of the mod and is so good that we ask the creator for permission to integrate into NH. Often these models require optimising to work with Stellaris, but on every occasion our credits file lists who was involved and who created the model. This is standard practice across the wider modding community and has been how we have credited since day one. And so comes as a surprise that it is now being called into question.

STNH is a collaboration and will always be that way, we take pride in our creation and fairly thank and credit those who contributed. This statement is all we wish to say on the matter, we’re not looking to invoke a war of words, name calling or childish behaviour.

Thank you for your understanding, live long and prosper

Your PDG ST NH Team.
