Please post a description of the bug you are experiencing.

Please upload the launch.log from Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Logs. Pastebin is fine.

Please provide a list of the mods you have enabled.

Yes -in relation to what BlackVision said, I don't have any class or skill-tree mods, but I do have appearance customisation... shouldn't affect it though. I don't know, my XCOM 2 has been acting up for some time now, so I'm currently doing a complete reinstall to make sure

UPDATE: The reinstall hasn't finished, so I haven't seen if this is what caused the promotion bug, but I have a suspicion. In my sublist I found I was subbed to an obsolete version of Hidden Potential that "wasn't working correctly" due to the new DLC... hm. So it may have been a false alarm, I'll keep quiet until further notice

Yeah... I don't know *what* it was, and I'll never know now, because the problem was fixed after that total reinstall.

hello i am not sure if it is intended but in combination with the LW Perk Pack i think there are some bugs. For example if i have already promoted a soldier in my armory i can switch him to another class.

I can't duplicate this behavior, something odd is going on.

If you turn off all other mods does it still do this? Could you post a link to your log file where this happens (pastebin is fine)?

There may be fundemental incompatability but without more reports and/or being able to duplicate the issue myself I can't be sure..

Hello, i have alternative mod launcher and there is no conflict with other mods also not with the LW Perk Pack. I will test more and if i have more details i will tell you. For now its working fine.

Changed my granadeir to assuslt, it now carry two grenades :O
Any way to fix it?

My only suggestion is to cycle that soldier's class: ie back to grenedier and then back to assault.

It sounds like something went screwy with the grenade slot. This is unlocked for Grenadiers but not other classes. There are some mods that mess with the grenade slot but this sounds more like a glitch within the game itself, not the mod specifically.

Your going to have to give more details than that. I need a description of what you are experiencing.

I and others are using this with Long War 2 with little to no troubles, at least thus far. Just because the Alternate Mod Manager reports conflicts does not mean they're actually are any.

Not sure if this bug was created by CC or not but it didn't start until I subsribed to this mod.

Every 2 or 3 missions I get the Stuck-below-the-avenger bug when finishing missions and need to validate local files in order to get it to work again (always 1 file that fails to validate).

@reyjinn What mod is "LW2 alien pack"? Is it the Long War Alien Pack from Pavonis themselves? Because as noted on that mod's page it should not be run with Long War 2. LW2 has an integrated version.

Yeah, that is the one. Hmmm, XCOM/Steam threw up a thing about Pavonis' SMG mod being integrated and not needed anymore but the Alien Pack didn't cause any warnings to go up. I'll try removing it and see if that does anything for me.

MAJOR bug since last update:

If you give a rookie a laser rifle and send him on a mission, bring him back and 'commanders choice' him from the armoury without removing his weapon it WILL delete his laser rifle from the game entirely.

Not tested with any other weapons. Not tested to see if it does the same thing with weapon attachements. But I suspect it will delete anything.

I just lost a whole host of weapons from my rookies... I didnt even notice until 3 missions later when I needed to deploy with lasers again, only to find I had none.

Did some testing and found this as the cause. Reproducable on demand.
