That being said that would feel like not having the mod at all.
I can see how it would suck for anyone without all the dlc and it would likely restrict co op play but alternatively we would only have 6 lords with different starting locations out of the current 16 and probably no more than that buy the end tho beast men might get one or two later on but that's about it.
PS: i dont own GnG yet, i will buy it depends on how the next update goes so i can play coop with friends
Fair enough. Relaistically by doing one compatible with vanilla the only thing people miss out on is one DLC lord being his own faction instead of sharing with another lord. That's one faction. I don't know statistics on dlc owners but surely its better to get more people playing over having an extra lord on the map?
*Then again I would be biased as I don't have the DLC*
