How do I download this mod?

Answer:

To fully download the mod all you need to do is press subscribe and open Chivalry:Medieval Warfare 's Launcher. To open the launcher right click Chivalry:Medieval Warfare in your steam library then simply click the submenu button that says Launcher (SDK, Workshop, Safe Mode). Once the launcher is open press the slim white bar on the bottom right that says "Click to download subscribed Steam Workshop items". Once you do that wait for it to say "Workshop files are up-to-date!" then click play.

How do I play this mod?

Answer:

At the moment not many servers are hosting Laser testing or LSMOD so you can hunt for them in the server browser or simply open the mod on a map from create a game or type in the console: open AOCFFA-Arena3_p?modname=LSMOD

What's so different between this one and the alpha mod by the original modder?

Answer:

This is a branch of lasersword working to build off the wonderful source code the original modder provided. Much like Star Wars mod we're using the source code to make something better than the previous alpha and is most certainly not a reupload of the same mod but a current testing ground for a bigger better lasersword mod.

So this is the full release of the new lasersword?

Answer:

Yes and no, the mod here is very much early in development and has many changes to go through before we say it's feature complete. As of right now there isn't much beyond some experimental features/changes and lasersword fx that are different from the alpha version.

Question:

I keep spawning with the wrong selected loadout items, why?

Answer:

As of right now this is a unknown conflict with coding either based on the mod or chivalry itself, we're unsure but working to fix it hopefully soon. Although at the current state we've found a temp. fix that can help you have a higher success rate of selecting the weapons shown in this gif: http://i.imgur.com/9fD4ZqM.gif

My dlc skins aren't working and my customization won't change when playing the mod, why is this?

Answer:

Currently this is an issue involving these skins and we do plan on pin pointing it to fix it but as of right now it's pretty minor compared to the loadout bug we think.

So who's in charge here?

Answer:

Crusher is the main man for coding and is the reason this workshop mod exists along with the help of Camponês Imundo who provided the source code.

Question:

So should I download this over the original alpha one?

Answer:

Another yes and no, I would suggest only getting this version if you would like to. Many servers would prefer using the alpha since it's much more stable compared to this version (that and not many people know this mod exists yet.) and of course as of right now I doubt anyone is hosting this mod on a dedicated server currently.
