What do you want to see? Upcoming/Dev
This mod is a long-term project and will be growing over time, adding new Advent and Alien designs with cybernetic themes. Some ideas will take more effort than others, or happen sooner than others.

Hacking
One of the simplest upcoming additions is different hack rewards against robotic boss-tier units. Leaving the existing Sectopod as-is, the EU Sectopod and units that are almost entirely mechanical but have a full living brain (Mechtoid & above) should not be likely to immediately mind control. That goes for hacking and psi. These units defend with Hack+Will, and an initial hack drops their mental/hack defense to just their high Will. They also should be immune to stun (instead getting equivalently disoriented) except from the freeze bomb. Save for the Sectopod.

Sectopod
The EU Sectopod's standard variant will probably be the fourth enemy I add. I'd also like to something akin to a Sectopod Ruler as an airdrop in forced evac missions (with MCM option to turn off). It would be repeater-proof and not take Ruler turns, but be a "2 turns left" unit that you've only opportunity to deal limited damage to before evac and creates a high chance of kill or capture. It could appear on any Evac timer mission, so you may have option to stay and fight.

Mechtoid Etc.
The Mechtoid can't be done until I have a plasma akimbo animation for it since EW animations don't extract. There's a long list of other potential units in my .int localization file, but you probably don't need to be overwhelmed by how many variants I plan. Nor am I sure to make all of them.

Goal #1 Though
Unless there's popular demand to keep recolored MEC variants like the initial release EVERY NEW UNIT MUST HAVE A UNIQUE MESH OR MESH COMBO.

Next update should have stun weapons on 2 MECs, the plan is to update the current ones.

*Currently working on: Using Maya to make the EW Mec compatible with the new animations. Learning witchcraft, basically.
Have you put any thought into man-sized humanoid robotic units? Essentially ADVENT Police/Battle droids. You could re-use the default humanoid animations, but give them robo-voices and make them hackable, as well as other quirks that come with being a robot. Could be interesting.

Yep! The Strider is actually down-scaled to nearer an Advent Trooper height, and I may reduce that a bit more later on to differentiate it from other units. But the Strider and the T1 stun MEC I'm working on use MEC animations.

Down the line I'll have some that do use humanoid animations, but I'm still considering their combat roles and visuals. Advent has inexpensive biological units so there must be an advantage for any specific type of bot.
