I really appreciate your work.
Vanilla was way too easy.
Even on legendary difficulty i was able to annihilate archaon and his dirty norsemen.
So i tried a mod which increases these values (and some more) to something like this
-- mid game | late game
-- easy, normal, hard, very hard, legendary
ci_max_num_hordes = {{6, 6, 9, 12, 15}, {8, 8, 13, 15, 18}};
The invasion started at a later date than in vanilla though.
Well that escaleted quickly, and it was a mess to hunt down all the raiding armies.
I suggest to let the invasion begin 10-20 turns later on though to keep the amounts of enemies managable.
By the way: Is it possible to increase the movement speed for all your armies for like 5-10% somehow, when chaos event kicks in? Relying on ambushes and agents to hunt down small armies is a strategy which might not really work against dozens of chaos hordes.
So the Mod you tried, did spawn too much Hordes - on what difficulty did you play it?
Of course i would raise the Invasion date from 50 to 75 and the end game from 100 to 125.
10 % more Movement Range? I could think about that, will lead of course to a faster Gameplay, as i generally think the Movement Speed is way too slow in this Game.
Armies moving from Bretonnia, that wanna fight Chaos, take sooooo long for the AI
Edit: Just realized that sounded really accusatory and it wasn't meant to. Just wanted to see if you could point me in the direction of the issue if there is one. I really like the mod as I mentioned in the comments section for it.
There is a Timer between and after the Evens from 1-20 Turns, so just wait a couple more Turns.

Its now @ 70 and 130.
Ive also updated the other Infos about that!
And the first Wave is too strong for the AI if i give em high Tier Units.
