If there is anything you guys want to see post a suggestion here. Note however that my skills in creating content from scratch are very limited. Most of what I'll be able to do is repurpose/kitbash existing content so please keep that in mind when posting ideas.

Requests:
  • Set number of attachments
  • Alien weapons for XCOM
  • Set mobility bonuses
  • Edit Advent rifle
  • New sniper model
  • Iron sights for mag/conventional shotguns and mag rifle [ironsights present on Magnetic Squad Rifle]

Just out of curiosity, what were you planning on doing with armor customizations? Personally, I've always hoped someone would do something with the tier 2 (plated) armors. I hate the bulky shoulders with a passion and would love to see some sleeker options that still go along with the plated style.

Didn't have much plans, save maybe a few mixes with the civilian clothes options mixed in with some bits from the resistance DLC. I dunno if I'd be able to do much in that regard, seems like its a beyond my ability. I could try and remove the plating but I doubt the result would look any good. If you haven't already I'd recommend you look at Progressive Armor Options, that might be able to better meet your needs.

Yep i use progressive armors already. Looking forward to your designs! And as a side note, for the weapons were you planning on adding a config file to edit weapon stats? Im fine with them being same as vanilla, I'd just prefer being able to tweak them a bit, especially the sniper variant.

Would love to see a setting added to the mod to allow you to set the amout of attactments.

Right, I'll see about getting those configs in, thought it might take a while.
Not sure if this is outside of your realm of expertise, but could you look into porting some of the alien weapon models as alternate plasma weapons for XCOM? Andromedon gun for shotgun, Codex/Viper gun for assault rifle, Muton gun for grenadiers? Just a thought.

That seems doable, though I don't believe any model edits will be necessary. The only thing would be that the weapons would be massive.
I suppose you could scale them down a bit, to make them look a bit better on the human models. Either way is fine, just glad you're considering it.

Tell me if there's any problems. They should work, but I also coded this stuff in something of a sleep deprived haze so keep an eye out.

It would be nice to have these have different stats to the regular rifles. We have the SMG, so maybe these could be +1 damage for -1 mobility or whatever. Having the different visuals is nice but having a reason to carry them (beyond bling) is nicer!

Weapon stats can be changed now so you can set that yourself.

For these, I'm well aware Total Advent Weaponry exists, but I'd like to suggest some stuff regardless.

Would it be possible to stick Bradford's drum mag and barrel shroud on an advent mag rifle and make it an AR or LMG?

Maybe get rid of that thing that connects the butt to the pistol grip on an advent gun?

Farkyrie's advent sniper has a custom long barrelled sniper that's different to the TAW advent sniper. That could be a nice alt sniper, maybe with a plasma lance scope to replace that tiny one on the advent rifles?

Like I said though, they're just suggestions - I hope I don't come across as barking orders in any way.

Is it possible to upgrade the models of existing weapons ?
If it is, can you add iron sights on the conventional shotgun and the MAG assault rifle, SMG and shotgun please ?

I could make the drum mag fit on mag weapons but it would probably look ridiculous. I could try and think something else up for an LMG variant tho.

I might be able to do that but don't count on it.

Assuming I got permission, I think that combo would clash given how the XCOM beam weapons are styles.

Funny thing, the magnetic AR does have ironsights, but its on a model that isn't used in the game. Go figure. Gonna put that in the game now, though I'm wondering if that should be made optional instead.

I think LWS SMGs already have ironsights at tier two. I dunno bout shotguns. The ironsigts in this game are like optics and are always rail mounted and shotgun rails don't go far back enough for a reasonable rear sight. I dunno, I'll think about it, but the answer is likely going to be no.
