But I think there is a conflict between it and the roads, plz check it.
because after subscribing to this mod, its not possible create 90 degree road!
@Blackdragonbird, Your description and images were PERFECT and helped me get right to the source of the problem.
Everyone:
I'm pretty sure I fixed both bugs now in the latest update.
Let me know if it fixed the issues for you, and/or if you encounter any other problems.
Cheers!
Thanks for the update btw, works great.
Thank you for the fix. =)
really great mod. Thank you.
But the bug is still there. Those extras buttons are not working at least for me. They don't showing up.
So everything is working fine, thx for the fix ;)
Hmmm, quite strange.
The buttons appear for me when I test the PLT mod from the workshop.
@duffyr, That is very strange. It sounds like maybe an error is happening when the mod tries to load the buttons and UI and it's preventing the rest of the mod from working. I'm not sure atm. I'll look into it and see what I can find.
@Lord Morpheus + @Impact, Glad to hear it's working for you (:
@Judazzz, Are they still not showing up when you select PLT Straight/Curved/Freeform? And are the options checkboxes appearing in the Options tab of the Control Panel?
Firstly thank you for this amazing mod.
I just wanted to confirm that I am experiencing a similar issue.
I originally had both this and the barrier line tool mod activated (I forgot to turn the barrier line tool off before loading the game), I drew some tree lines and a few other things with PLT, which worked perfectly without issue throughout the whole play session.
When loading the game the following day the FPS dropped to an eye watering 5 to 6 from a nominal 40 - which was bizarre as seemingly nothing had been changed since the last play session. I closed the game, turned off the barrier line tool and the FPS problem was resolved - but now I have an issue where the road line tool buttons appear when the tree and prop menu is open, but when pressed, do nothing, and then when I close the prop tools menu and reopen it again the road tool buttons are no longer there.
It's more than likely that I have caused a conflict somewhere down the line, I don't know how to fix it or identify the root cause.
This isn't a complaint or anything along those lines - I just wanted to report my findings from what I have experienced.
Thanks again for this fantastic mod - really is a game changer!
This mod has no main-menu options. So you won't see an entry for it in the main menu Options. I also have Network Extensions and can still see the buttons.
1. Do the buttons appear for you if you select Straight/Curved/Freeform modes?
2. If you hover over the spots where the buttons are missing (Fence mode, show Control Panel), do they still display tooltips?
3. Do the checkboxes appear in the Options tab of the PLT Control Panel for you?
If you're willing to do some additional testing (and you're running Windows):
If you've tested 1,2,3 and they still don't appear, try moving all of the contents of folder 694512541 into a new folder in your local mods folder:
On Windows: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods\PropLineTool_v1
If you can't navigate to the folder, You may need to enable "Show Hidden Files and Folders" in File Explorer->"View" Tab->Options->Change Folder and Search Options->"View" Tab->Select "Show hidden files, folders, and drives". (You can disable it after testing if you want)
Make sure you moved the contents of 694512541 and didn't copy them. Otherwise you will have two instances of PropLineTool in the Content Manager.
Then start the game and enable Prop Line Tool. It should list author as "Unknown".
Then either start a new game or new asset (or load your current map if you wish).
Then let me know if the problem persists.
I haven't been able to recreate the problem myself, so I'm trying to figure out what may be causing it. I hope it's just that you haven't selected a different draw mode. Because the buttons not appearing for Single placement mode wasn't explained very clearly by me.
Thanks for your bug report and info! It's very helpful to have information about the behavior of this mod, as I cannot possibly test all possible cases.
That FPS issue sounds strange. But it sounds like you resolved it. If it reappears let me know.
Are you using any tree brush mods and/or any mods that modify the placement of trees and/or props?
I'll see what I can find out.
Thanks again!
EDIT: Also, by road tool buttons, do you mean the ones for PLT to draw props/trees or the vanilla ones to draw roads?
