Custom gobos in a nutshell
Replacing the existing gobo pictures in the Gobos directory would be the fastest way.

But for specific needs you can also add new ones by adding a new light source which must be given an unique name (your_light_name for example).

In almost every case the lights should use the properties as the preconfigured ones except for your own light cookie texture picture path (look into the NL2 manuals / tutorials how to do this when you are not familiar with this).

The final step would be configuring the model.cfg file in the Moving Head or Laser directory, there you can configure the lights source by adding the entry to the file for example like that.

[light4] light your_light_name

You can then use that gobo directly with custom light show configurations by using
gobo 4
for example.
