Base Game


Positive:

City Person - randomized buff to stats in City Center and Slums missions

Small Town Person - randomized buff to stats in Small Town, Wilderness, and Shanty missions

Alien Killer - increased aim against organic alien units

Advent Killer - like the above but against ADVENT

Mechanical killer - like the above but against machines

Bodyguard - buff to select stats (IE Aim, Crit, Will) when on a squad with majority lower ranking soldiers

Follower - buff to select stats (IE Mobility, Crit, Will) when on a squad with majority higher ranking soldiers

Masochist - randomized buff to stats when injured (unavailable to robots due to how SPARKs work)

Class Lover - buff to stats if in a squad with multiples of the same class

(EXTREME) Heroes Never Die - Gets a second chance at life on a killshot, effectively Sustain sans the stasis.

(EXTREME) Poison Tolerance - gains immunity to poison

(EXTREME) Steel Mind - gains immunity to mental debuffs

Negatives:

Afraid of Aliens - decreased aim against organic alien units

Afraid of Advent - like the above but against ADVENT

Afraid of Machines - like the above but against mechanical units

Hates Cities - randomized debuffs in City Center and Slums missions

Hates the Outdoors - randomized debuffs in Small Town, Wilderness, and Shanty missions

Hates FNGs - debuff to stats when in a squad with majority lower ranking soldiers

Rebellious Rookie - debuff to stats when on a squad with majority higher ranking soldiers

Fatalist - debuff to stats when injured (unavailable to robots due to how SPARKs work)

Gloryhog - debuff to stats in a squad with multiples of the same class

(EXTREME) Coward - has a chance of doing a forced defensive move every time a pod reveals themselves. Chance scales down as the soldier's will gets higher, though it will hit a floor of 25%. It can also be blocked by items like Mind Shield.

(EXTREME) Scared of Blood - gets a chance to faint for a turn (ie stunned for two AP) every time they get hurt

(EXTREME) Panicky Reloader - can waste an action point on reloading a weapon randomly, chance to do so scales to 50% per turn as a mission goes on

Mixed Blessings

Sprinter - increases the mobility of soldiers, but decreases their aim due to shakiness from running so hard all the time (Unavailable to robots)

Endurance Runner - decreases the mobility of soldiers, but gives them an extra movement-only action point (Unavailable to robots)

Hoarder - gains an additional charge on items in a soldier's utility slot, but decreases mobility (Unavailable to robots)

Blindfirer - a soldier will treat low cover like high cover, but gains a debuff to aim (unavailable to robots)

Squad Mechanics

(Think mods like Squad Cohesion)

Positive:

Jolly Cooperator - gains buffs to stats if working with a squad that they know very well (has at least 25 squadmate score with the majority)

Friend Maker - squad gain 5 cohesion score with each other on mission deployment due to this soldier encouraging people to talk each other on the Skyranger ride over

Negative:

Tsundere - gains a debuff to stats if working with a squad that they know very well (has at least 25 squadmate score with the majority)

Trouble maker - squad gains -5 cohesion with each other on mission deployment due to this soldier's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ry on the Skyranger ride over

Soldier Customization-affected

(Basically this can be easily nullified if you bother switching soldier's characteristics around, buuuut I made these anyway since some people won't bother to do that.)

Positive:

Likes Men - gains buffs to stats on a squad that's at least half male

Likes Women - gains buffs to stats on a squad that's at least half female

Negative:

Misogynist - gains debuffs to stats on a squad that's at least half female

Misandrist - gains debuffs to stats on a squad that's at least half male

Robotic Units

Humans (what they think about the robots)

Positive:

Friend to Robots - gains buffs to stats in a squad with SPARKs or other robotic units in it

Negative:

Robot Hater - gains debuffs to stats in a squad with SPARKs or other robotic units in it

Robots (what they think about the humans)

Positive:

Protector - gains buffs to stats when the squad is majority human

Mechanical Efficiency - gains buffs to stats when the squad has at least two robots

Negative:

Human Hater - gains debuffs to stats when the squad is majority human

Mechanical Outcast - gains debuffs to stats when the squad has at least two robots

Alien Units

Humans (what they think about the ayys or ex-ADVENT)

Positive:

Friend to Xenos - gains buffs to stats in a squad with aliens or ex-ADVENT units in it

Negative:

Alien Hater - gains debuffs to stats in a squad with aliens or ex-ADVENT units in it


Aliens/ex-ADVENT (what they think about the humans)

Positive:

Alien Guardian - gains buffs to stats when the squad is majority human

Alien Efficiency - gains buffs to stats when the squad has at least two alien or ex-ADVENT units

Negative:

Poor Integration - gains debuffs to stats when the squad is majority human

Self-Hating Outcast - gains debuffs to stats when the squad has at least two alien or ex-ADVENT units
