Warframe

Warframe

Onimusha Helm
It's just not, Rhino.
I'd say if there ever is going to be a diabolical frame, then this helmet will get instantly picked for the frame if you save the concept.

Nezha already has a similiar helmet, and thb it breaks the frame's original aesthetic, and this one does the same for Rhino. Maybe if you bent it a bit so it looks like the original Rhino helmet a bit more then it would fit better.

So yeah awesome helmet, makes me think of Nidus from the exiting frames, but it does't fit him either thematically.

I think you should be able to aestetically change a warframe based on what you want the theme to be, some people may love the warframe but not its look or theme and they probably want something completely different. IDK just someting to think about.

That usually ends up just killing thematic integrity and drives the artstyle to a totally twisted level where you can't make up what's what even based on character's silhouettes, ending up ruining the whole integrity of character.

I'm new to Warframe, but from an artistic standpoint... what?

Why is this even an issue?

For example the first thing we learn from a Warframe even before the skills are announced is the name and archetype, for example Nidus is the Infested Warframe, Mirage is the Jester/Trickster Warframe etc.

Also their helmet styles are largely symbolic for them, going just changing around every helmet and skin will kill the identity of each Warframe and in the worst case make them seem similiar.

Also it leads way of degredating the overall artstyle of the game, making cool stuff is always appreciated, but the thought of how well it wold clash with the themeset of Warframe and the frame being worked on is important.

Though Deluxe skins have done some changing around yes, but even they still stick with the initial theme of the frame, they are like remodels thatfit the archetype. Some of the Tennogen stuff just doesn't work.

Like the Onimusha Helm is great, but it would fit a lot better on a Demonic frame or a Samurai frame, it would fit better for Chroma than Rhine is I'm totally honest.

People have different tastes. Yes warframes have themes but..... its not going to appeal to EVERYONE and maybe some people like change, they do this kind of stuff to give people a different view and feel of a game that they cant find or feel. They want a variety of customizations. Personally my favorite warframe is Saryn, her theme is a pretty deadly flower right? i think im right anyway, i would like to see something different with her, i dont like her deluxe anymore than her prime skin or any of her tennogen, now im not saying they are bad because they are good its just what appeals to me. I love saryn but i wish there was a skin that would make me feel "OH I NEED THAT" Some people dont like an infested look (Nidus) so they will do their best to cover it up. IDK my thoughts im not trying to piss poeple off or offend anyone. I didnt call the skins bad i just said not what appeals to my eye. I feel having a variety of different ways to customize your favorite warframe is an awesome thing, you get too see how people take all of that and mix and match it to come up with something beautiful, cool and creative. If i have bothered you, Im sorry, i just dont agree with the "if its not the theme of the warframe its not good for it" deal, again forgive me i wasnt trying to offend anyone or make this topic a stress holder for you all, i wanna see all of these people get artwork into the game because it is talent no matter how much better or worse people are at it. Good day Good luck, Tenno!

Art is a way for people to express them selves, same with styles and themes and some of the warframes people play and love may be far from their preffered themes hense them not being touched. adding a variety gives people options.

It is a cool helment. But it's not a good match for Rhino. It does feel wrong on him. If it were Volt or Oberon or someone like that it might fit better, but it doesn't quite feel like Rhino. Maybe if it was only one horn?

Seems better for Chroma than Rhino or Excal

This is a good one for rhino and Rhino need some more helms anyway...however this one seems to be dead in the water since the person working on it isn't going to do anything with it anymore till something happens. I forgot what but long story short not going to come out, or if it does maybe 20 years from now.
