Add Syria to core states as Antioch was one of the great cities of Byzantium.

Perhaps you should use the graphics from Poland's tank tree or air tree? That way, they can look unique from the generic and yet not be copied off of a main power. Because Poland is a free DLC, you can count on everyone having it.

We're working on a unique, original set of graphics for the armored vehicles that will be rolled out some time over the next few months, thanks to the help of a commissioned artist. However, due to the fact that he was commissioned, it will take us time to reasonably pay for the commissions, so as I said before it will be some time before they are ready for release.

What about cores on Africa (Alexandria) and the middle east (Jerusalem) to restore the pentarchy?

I'll pass that idea on to YuriKaslov, he's working on the political focus tree.

I think that the Navy, could use some updating both Turkey's and Rome's. Turkey shouldn't have the Yavuz, while Rome should have some other ships either from WWI or from the interwar. Personally I think that, the political system could have some more flavour. I think something like Britain's where it has a prime minister as leader and King as a trait, however if the Fascists take control, then they can install Edward VII as an absolute monarch. So have it if Fascists take control, they can install the Emperor as an absolute monarch.

We'll definitely give the Goeben to Rome under a different name to mirror its historical transferral during WW1.

I was considering whether or not we should delegate the leadership to a prime minister at the start. But my current train of thought is that Rome is a fairly backward absolute monarchy, just continuing the political system it had during the 1800s, which contributed to its general dilapidated state. The political NF tree I've been working will offer methods of changing from absolutist monarchy to other forms of government, which should include a stronger absolute monarchy ("Prussian Constitutionalism" for lack of a better term), full republic, constitutional monarchy, fascist monarchy (similar to how Italy works at current, I believe), fascist theocracy, fascist republic, and communist republic.

If you have any suggestions for other government types that might be interesting then feel free to say so. I think I got the majority of the political umbrella, so to speak.

That sounds very exciting. I like the way Fascist Britain works in vanilla, so I thought that may also work for this mod. I just didn't think that after losing WWI, Rome would keep it's system, revolutionary pressure, plus general dissatisfaction after a loss like that, I would think, result in parliamentary consessions. Ofc. It is your mod, and you guys know the time line alot better than I do.

perhaps instead of going straight to Constitutional Monarchy you can have a focus to grant more power to the Senate (or reform it depending on this alternate timeline) and communist republic could possibly be due to Greek philosopher (Socrates was basically a commie)

Of course, the intent is to make it as "detached" (for lack of a better term) from the player as possible. You set the basic conditions, then everything plays out through a series of events with some random elements.

Would it be too far to ask for a unit retexture so its not just the basic ones?
Alice  [developer] 6 Mar, 2017 @ 9:14pm
Neither myself nor Lavernius Regalis (as far as I'm aware) are artists. I was able to shill out for a small amount to get a couple of custom sprites a year ago, but unfortunately I'm not sure a unit retexture is really in the cards for the moment.

Darn, oh well.

you could use the poland textures for infantry, british planes and german tank sprites? just an idea
