Report a translation problem
I'm not sure of the technical term of a texture to use (phong? partially glossy?) but giving them a flatter less reflective style texture as opposed to a glossy would anchor them more in the game, and feel less like they are made out of something wierd.
that aside - the model is good and the mod functions wonderfully.
For the stock and handguard, I did notice the same thing, so I applied a constant to stop it from being too shiny, but those use regular materials. I'll have to look at the Material Instance (Customizable Parts) and see what I can do.
