Focus Tree Changes:

  • COMPLETELY OVERHAULED THE FOCUS TREE POSITIONS, EVERYTHING FITS IN 1 PAGE NOW INSTEAD OF NEARLY 2!

BALANCE CHANGES:

  • Education Reform: Removed 1x50% reduction from completing Electronics
  • Establish Tehran University: Removed 1x50% from completing computing
  • Reform the Judiciary: Changed icon to something more aesthetically pleasing. Reduced from 10% Unity to 5% Unity.
  • Fortress Persia: Combined with Fortress Persia II and reduced the amount of land forts by 50%.
  • Removed the following: Befriend Germany | Befriend the Soviet Union | Befriend Great Britain | Western Military Advisors
  • Claim Turkey: Grants +1 Military Factory upon completion.
  • Road to Jerusalem: Grants +1 Military Factory upon completion.

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed "Conquer Afghanistan" from using the wrong regions for bypassing.
  • Increased the response time for "Demand Syria" from 6 hours to 5 days, seems less instantanious.
  • Removed "Nejd" from the requirements of the "Royal Road".
  • Fixed "Fortress Persia" using the wrong tooltip.

BALANCE CHANGES:

  • Demand Syria: Now requires you to control the "Baghdad" state, as well as having 350,000 mapower worth of units instead of 250,000.
  • Modern Telecommunications: No longer reduces ahead of time, still reduces the next RADAR tech by 50%.
  • Form S.A.V.A.K: Only provides 1 -50% bonus for Decryption, no longer grants a minus beneft for the next Encryption.
  • Search for Steel: Increased the amount each province gains from 8 to 12, taking to total from 24 to 36 steel.

GENERAL CHANGES:

  • Added Mountaineers I to starting tech.
  • Added 1 Military Factory to the Gilan state.
  • Added 1 Infantry Division to the Khuzestan state.
  • Removed 3 Infantry Divisions and added 3 Mountaineer Divisions
  • Removed 2 Infantry Divisions and added 1 Sepaah Divison
  • Changed the initial balance of political factions at the start, gave the 3 none neutral parties more influence, monarchy still maintains 80% support.

FLAVOR CHANGES:

  • Renamed the Military Modernization focus to Modernize the Artesh. Changed the description to read: "All for one, One for all, All for Iran!"
  • Added a new starting Elite Infantry division template called: Sepaah Brigade
  • Changed the name of the Infantry Division Template to: Sarbaz Divison.
  • Changed the name of the Mountaineer Division Template to: Sarbaz-e Kooh Divison .

COSMETIC CHANGES:

  • I re-drew some of the urban centers to look more natural and more visually pleasing.

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed "Parthian Tactics" requiring the wrong pre-requisite focus.

BALANCE CHANGES:

  • Militarization Efforts: Reduced the amount of Military Factories provided from 5 to 4.
  • Militarization Efforts II: Reduced the amount of Military Factories provided from 5 to 4.
  • Qizilbash Heritage: No longer gives research or ahead reduction for Paratroopers 1, changed to Paratroopers 2, ahead reduction removed completely, only bonus remains. Removed tech ahead of time bonus and/or bonus for Mountaineers 2, bonus research speed still applies to Mountaineers 3. To compensate for removal and less techs being effected, I increased the bonus speed from 50% to 75% for Paratroopers 2 and Mountaineers 3.
  • Invincible Armada: Removed from the game/mod, Naval Expansion II now takes its place in the tech tree.
  • Naval Expansion: Reduced the number of dockyards provided from 6 to 4. Now also provides 2x50% for Naval Doctrines
  • Naval Expansion II: Reduced the number of dockyards provided from 6 to 4. Now also provides 2x50% for Naval Doctrines

GENERAL CHANGES:

  • Increased Iran's population from 12.6 million (vanilla) to 17.3 million (historically accurate).
  • Removed 1 Military Factory from the Gilan state.
  • Removed 1 Infantry Division from the Khuzestan state.

FLAVOR CHANGES:

  • Changed the name of the Cavalry Division Template to: Asbaran Divison .

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed "Fortress Persia" advisor not being unlocked upon completion of the focus.

BALANCE CHANGES:

  • Claim the Persian Gulf: Now grants claims to the state of "Nejd" and also reduces Saudi Arabia's opinion of you..

BUG FIXES:

  • Fixed "Carrier Focus" and "Battleship Focus" using the wrong description.
  • Fixed "Rebuild the Royal Road" requiring the wrong states for completion.
  • Fixed advisors that unlock from focus's from disappearing immediatly if you did not have space for them, it should work properly now.

    COSMETIC CHANGES:

    • Added city lights to all added urban areas, as well as some other areas that I felt needed the lights.

    • Continued my efforts to tweak the graphical features of the map with reality, more greenery in the north, desert more defined.

    BALANCE CHANGES:

    • Removed 3 focus's this patch, also did significant tweaking.

    • For The Greater Good: Removed from the mod.
    • Extra Tech Slot II: Removed from the mod.
    • Awoken Generation: Now merged with the Saoshyant focus.
    • Modernized Telecommunications: Research time doubled from 70 days to 140.
    • Industrialize the North: Provides 1 less Civilian Factory.
    • Industrialize the South: Provides 1 less Civilian Factory.
    • Form S.A.V.A.K: No longer grants 50% bonus reduction for Decryption tech, passive benefits doubled from 2.5% to 5%.
    • Education Reform No longer grants 50% bonus for Industry tech.
    • Mechanized Focus: No longer provides ahead reduction for Motorized and Mechanized, now also grants 1x50% reduction for Land Doctrine.

    • Overhauled the mod file structure, should be far more compatible with other mods now.

    • Changed the idea icon of Elite Forces to something better looking.

    GENERAL CHANGES:

    • Prospect for Oil: Removed from the mod.
    • Extra Tech Il: Added back into the mod, replaces Prospect for Oil location on tree.
    • Claim Iraq: Now makes the territories of Iraq cores.
    • Claim Afghanistan: Now makes the territories of Afghanistan cores.
    • Demand Syria: Now makes the territories of Syria cores.
    • Doctrine of Holy Defense: Reinforce rate increased from 10% to 15%.
    • Establish Propaganda Ministry: Now requires you to be in a Offensive War.
    • Modernized Telecommunications: Now requires you to have Radio Detection technology and now provides 2 bonus reductions instead of 1.

    COSMETIC CHANGES:

    • Changed the icon of Develop Saudi Oil Fields to something better looking.

    GENERAL CHANGES:

    • Added the starting national spirit Anglo-Iranian Oil Company.
    • Added the starting national spirit Corrupt Bureaucracy & Judiciary.

    BALANCE CHANGES:

    • Standardized Equipment: Reduced the amount of Supprt Artillery research bonus's from 2 to 1.
    • Mechanized Focus: Removed 1x50% for Land Doctrines
    • Demand Syria: No longer grants cores of the territories of Syria, just adds claims.
    • Claim Iraq: No longer grants cores of the territories of Iraq.
    • Rebuild Baghdad: Grants cores of the territories of Iraq.
    • Claim Afghanistan: No longer grants cores of the territories of Afghanistan.
    • Rebuild Herat: Grants cores of the territories of Afghanistan.
    • Claim the Persian Gulf: Added conquest focus against Saudi Arabia.
    • Technology Sharing: Only grants a research slot now.
    • Reform the Judiciary: Now removes the negative national spirit of Corrupt Bureaucracy & Judiciary.
    • Nationalize Oil: Now removes the negative national spirit of Anglo-Iranian Oil Company.

    BUG FIXES:

    • Fixed starting unit divisions from using the wrong name.

    Gameplay Changes:

    • Added the Iranian Civil War event which fires when you try to get rid of the negative idea "Corrupt Bureaucracy & Judiciary" with the national focus "Reform the Judiciary". Be warned the civil war is very hard, monarchist reactionaries take claim of the northern part of the country and spawn well armed units.

    Focus Tree Changes:

    • Added the new focus: "Foreign Reinforcements
    • Changed the order of "Doctrine of Holy Defense" and "Qizilbash Heritage" to be at the end of their respective trees, instead of being second to last.

    BALANCE CHANGES:

    • Claim the Persian Gulf: No longer grants the idea "Paramilitarism".
    • Education Reform: Grants 3% tech reduction bonus instead of 5%.
    • Urbanize the Countryside: No longer provides any Naval Bases (previously 6).
    • Create a M.I.C: Now only provides 1 bonus speed research for Support Equipment instead of 1 for Infantry Weapons AND Support Artillery (2 bonus's reduced to 1 of new category)
    • Awoken Generation: Provides 5% recruitable population instead of 10%.
    • Revive the Empire: No longer gives any army experience.
    • Extra Tech Slot: Now requires 50 factories.
    • Extra Tech Slot II: Now requires 100 factories.
    • Search for Steel: Increased amount of Steel provided by 12, now requires Construction III and Advanced Machine Tools.
    • Reform the Judiciary: Now takes 140 days to complete, also requires any form of government that is NOT Neutral.
    • The Saoshyant: Now takes 140 days to complete.
    • Claim Iraq: now grants a -25 Opinion Modifier of Iran to Iraq.
    • Claim Afghanistan: now grants a -25 Opinion Modifier of Iran to Afghanistan.
    • Claim Turkey: now grants a -25 Opinion Modifier of Iran to Turkey.

    BUG FIXES:

    • Fixed Persia.txt not being encoded in the correct file format.
    • Fixed the "Nationalism Focus" focus not using the correct idea icon.

    FOCUS CHANGES:

    • Added the new focus "Revoke Gullistan & Turkmenchay" which grants a Conquest focus against the USSR as well as a Theorist Advisor.

    GENERAL CHANGES:

    • Revive the Empire: No longer creates world tension.
    • Search for Steel: Requires 110 factories instead of 140.
    • Reform the Judiciary: Takes 70 days to complete instead of 140.
    • Support Communists Worldwide: Now provides Paramilitrism instead of Political Correctness.
    • Claim the Persian Gulf: No longer grants claim to Nejd, still provides conquest focus.
    • Elite Forces: Now also reduces the cost of Motorized Equipment by 5%.
    • Mass Forces: Now also reduces the cost of Artillery Equipment by 5%.
    • Qizilbash Heritage: Reduces the tech cost of Paratroopers 2 OR 3 instead of just 2, now also provides reduction for Marines, no longer provides reduction for Recon Companies.
    • Persian Corridor: Now takes 35 days to complete.
    • The Saoshyant: No longer requires "Demand Syria".
    • Demand Syria: No longer provides any claims.

    BALANCE CHANGES:

    • No longer start with the "Early Destroyers" tech.
    • Changed the starting division template for the Sepaah Brigade template.

    • Extra Tech Slot II: Now requires 100 facotries.
    • Form S.A.V.A.K: Now only provides 10% for Decryption and Encryption, no longer provides any tech speed bonsus's.
    • Reform the Judiciary: No longer provides any National Unity.
    • Revoke Gullistan: Now reduces the USSR's opinion of you by 100 instead of 25.
    • Road to Jerusalem: Reduces GB's opinion of by 25 now.
    • Immortal Corps: No longer provides any Army EXP.
    • Takavaran: Changed to provide 2x Transport speed bonus + 1x Air Doctrine speed bonus.

    GENERAL CHANGES:

    • Foci from the Elite branch no longer provide Army EXP.
    • Anglo-Iranian Oil Company now increases Fascism and Communism by .05 instead of .02.
    • Added many new advisors that unlock from Foci decisions.

    BUG FIXES:

    • Fixed the Iranian Civil War from removing all national ideas and removing factories in areas that rebelled.

    • Doctrine of Holy Defense: Now provides 10% Division Recovery instead of 15%, also grants 20% Divison Attack & Defense in Core Territories.
    • Qizilbash Heritage: Now provides a National Idea instead of tech bonus's, grants 5% Division Organization, -20% Attrition & -20% Out of Supply.
    • Takavaran: Now provides 2x Transport Tech Reduction, 1x Marine 2 or 3, 1x Paratrooper 2 or 3.

    GAMEPLAY CHANGES:

    • Added 9 new cities and victory points in Iran with the necessary urban terrain and night lights.
    • Overhauled the victory point value of all cities in Iran.

    • Fixed Vichy France from taking Syria from you when you already controlled it.

    • Changed the entire political system, renamed all parties, added a Fascist leader, and 7 poltiical related events.

    • Technical Schools: New idea added, it grants 1x50% for Industry and 1x50% for Electronics.
    • Invest in Synthetics: Adds 2 Synthethic Factories and grants 1x50% for Synthetic research.
    • Mechanized Focus: Now grants 1x50% for Mechanized and 1x50% for Motorised Rocket Artillery instead of just regular Motorised.
    • Form SAVAK: Now grants 5% Decryption and Encryption instead of 10%, now also grants 1x50% for either Millitray Police 2, 3, or 4.
    • Urbanize the Countryside: No longer provides dockyards or extra building slots.
    • Mass Forces: Now provides 5% reduction for Support Equipment instead of Towed Artillery.

    • Added the new focus "Revised A-I Oil Co." which removes the original A-I idea for a less punishing version.
    • Technology Sharing: Now provides 1 research bonus to Industry and Electronics instead of 1 additional research slot.
    • Demand Syria: Takes 35 days to complete instead of 70.
    • Claim Turkey: Takes 35 days to complete instead of 70.
