What Shoneska means is the Citadel Skin is steampunk-inspired, while the Blades of the Lotus series are fantasy-inspired.
Realistically, neither of the above examples fit the game's Sci-Fi theme either, yet they've still made it into the game.

If Oberon can prance about dressed as a knight, Vauban can strut his stuff as a giant brass drum of steam, gears and pistons, and Nova can waltz around as an air hostess, I personally don't see why Valkyr can't tear people apart in a corset.

I think the the color scheme has a lot to do with it. The brown/gold color looks old-timey, but the orange/white coloring makes it look more like a near-future space suit, and the blue/gold coloring reminds me a lot of Mesa's default skin.

They should put this in the game. Valkyr has so little Tennogen, if theres "rules" due to this old-timy look, there should be an acception made in this case.

I absolutely need this, as a Valkyr main, I've so long wanted to look like gender bent Jack the Ripper as much as possible... but if some "rules" come between me and my dreams, well *prepares wallet* Everything is negotiable or at least bribable.

Back in tenno gen one, they released taht old timey skin for nove, it was so popular that they put it in, but they made it clear right afterwards that all skins should (morelike have to) be sci fy from now on...

I understand this post was written months ago. Now what about rhee new official Atlas skin....
Regarding me, I stick to their rules, wouldn't buy this skin and will never touch the new Atlas skin.

to be fair, there is Tenno writings on the skin so it might still apply

A. Vauban Citadel isn't tennogen so it doesn't really have to fit into the rules
B. The blade of the lotus skins are a mixture of sci fi and fantasy

this literally cant be added, Hitsu cant make another skin like the Nova one, Taylor said no. no matter how awesome it is, it doesnt fit and wont be added
