Christina Grimmie Dragonborn Comes Music

i tested the mod and i found some slight issues that could be polished
i love the idea behind this mod as her singing is perfect and honestly adds another fantasy element to the game, it just sounds like the song belongs here. so ive been testing this mod in game and ive come across a few technical issues that could be fixed to enhance the mod

1. i had several issues with the tavern music side of the mod. for example i was at the winking skeever (solitude inn) and when i asked the bard to sing dragonborn comes she got about 1/4 through the song before the mod kicked in and christinas version played which it then overlapped the bards singing (i realize this may not be fixable but it certainly sounds very strange, them both singing at once) i tried this at a few different inns with all the same effect. the song has a long delay instead of kicking on immediately

2. i also experienced this weird bug. if you allow the song to start at an inn then leave the inn the song stops playing like it should. however, if you reenter the inn the song begins again and for me it started to loop. it would play about halfway through then restart over and over. i tried getting the bard to sing another song in hopes it would help but it didnt.

3. as for the combat side of it i noticed that when you fast travel directly into combat the music wont play at all however i beleive this is an issue with the game becasue i could hear the peacetime music and not any combat music. heres the test i did for this: I fast traveled to silent moons camp and cleared the outside without any combat music (or christines) playing. i then reloaded and fast traveled to the giant camp not to far away and walked to silent moon camp, as soon as i entered combat the song played. (which by the way for people wondering there is something oddly satisfying about combat to this song, makes it feel more cinematic)

i would reccommend making a toggle switch if possible though for combat music because as much as i like killing things to this song, it doesnt always suit the moment. also if possible i think a simple title screen version would kick ass!

i realize this is a new mod and i really think it has great potential. its like a rusty barn find. its a sweet deal but could use a little bit of polishing to make it perfect ^_^

I was unable to find a way to switch the main menu music, but if someone can find and post a tutorial, I would be happy to do so.

I was also unable to find out how to fix the tavern glitch. The issue is that some music is played as background music while the rest is dialogue music from the bard, which overrides the background music. I replaced the background music, but I am unsure about the dialogue.

Lastly, I made a version that mixes the default combat music with Christina Grimmie's version of The Dragonborn Comes. If you feel that Christina's version is not played enough or is played too much on that mod, feel free to message me and I will adjust the mod accordingly.

yeah ive been playing it offline a lot and noticed that sometimes her voice slowly fades out mid song and it restarts. i feel its played a bit too much, while it is cool to have as combat music sometimes its just that one song over and over again every fight AND tavern visit. it gets repetitive real quick. if you could take it off combat music that would be great because sadly at the moment i had to turn it off for the time being just cause it started to drive me crazy. i love the song and this mod, just too reptetitive

Do you mean mix in it with the default combat music, like this: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=705572134

Or would you like me to make a version that only plays it in taverns?

only in taverns, hearing it over and over in a large dungeon or alot of combat does get old quickly

Sure thing. I will make a fourth version that only plays her music in taverns. Hopefully someone will make an NPC bard of Christina in taverns that plays her song. That would be cool. I won't be able to make the tavern version until next weekend, as I will be busy this week at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Tx. Also, like I said, I have a version that mixes Christina's song with the default music. Plus I can also make Christina's version play even less often than it does. As right now her song is set to play half of the time in the mix mod.
