Exceptionally good and challenging
Most of my play time with this game is dedicated to playing custom campaigns and this is by far, one of the best I've experienced. From the scarcity and randomness of medkits to high tier weapons spawning in late game to the fact that it has only ONE chapter really makes for a good challenge.

But what makes this, imo, exceptional compared to the the majority of custom campaigns is that the challenge and difficulty is earned. Instead of forcing you going down tight corridors and small rooms with a Tank, L4P sets you up in a much wider environment, giving you a lot more breathing room and most of damage will come from you not paying enough attention to your surroundings instead of being forced to fight a Tank in a 4m² room. (although the elevator part is pretty similar)

I genuinely think that mappers should play this campaign more often to know how to make theirs challenging all the while offering a sense catharsis after beating them, instead of anger and frustrations.

Wow! Thanks a lot for your comment Gachi♂la♂Muchi♂. I really appreciate that. The map was indeed designed to put the player in front of a "real" challenge. Beating the map would then give the players some sense of "accomplishment". I saw a playthrough (video available on gamemaps.com) where the players were literally worn down emotionnaly by the challenge. They were congratulating each other in the train during the escape.
