And while obviously complimentary perhaps even a requierment to have your EM mod for it to work( althought creating independant functionality would be interesting for broader community use) that would not detract from the pro of giving users more options rather then less.
I wouldn't necessarily be against uploading a seperate version that's standalone though I think, that might be interesting indeed.
I will think on it tomight and maybe and idea will come to me
Right now Distant-Fire sniper rail has dibs on a modified version of advanced kinetic artillery, the rest is all up for grabs atm though.
A space station you can build around a star that can and will eventually overload it into a supernova that wipes out the entire system, and ships in it at the time of the supernova will be destroyed and any ships that travel through it will have a chance to take 5 damage per second.
A real mind control laser on a specific station type with similar stats to a wormhole station that can orbit any planet to guranatee any living pops are happy and working to the best of their efforts (still require food), this will however not work on synths.
Wielding a weapon of mass destruction would give you a MASSIVE diplomacy penalty.
A dimensional portal station (similar to a wormhole station) that can be kept open to provide mineral riches boyond your dreams, but has a chance to summon inter-dimensional invaders (to avoid camping the portal opened will instantly destroy everything in the system and the portal will become self sustainable, 4 60k fleets are also summoned instantenously and a large amount pours out within the first year (larger than usual) to avoid camping in nearby systems.
Zero point ship mounted weaponry that fires a beam at a location from long range, that after a while will cause a large explosion damaging or destroyign everything within a certain radius.
A non-agressive version of a zero point beam or antimatter that can be used to turn any tile on a planet into a clearable blocker, good to deal with tile blackers that you cannot remove, but at the cost that all the tile resources are vaporized.
A diplomatic weapon against spiritualists specifically that can create some artifical omen (such as a comet colission with a planet) that does little to no damage to the planet, but makes all spiritualist pops on the planet (or even empire) suffer a happiness debuff.
A constructable facility, similar to the ring world in shape but not size that can only be built around smaller class stars, this expensive gargantuan structure that would require living metal and neutronium as well as years and years of time would create a ring around the planet that can utilize the star's immense energy to smite anything in the territory with CME's that can lightly damage and shut down ships allowing for other forces to attack them withotu any resistance, or simply simiting anything, either way, it makes a very powerful defence system which is very hard to counter but it greatly limited in placement.
You can enlist an edict upon a planet that transforms it into a 'hive world' (new class of planet) that has plus 100% income of each resource however this costs an instant amount of minerals as well as the fact that it removes all current buildings on the planet, and there are no tile resources (or blockers), in addition it will have a hefty mineral and energy upkeep that can be compensated for through buildings in the hive world, but early on it will burn even the strudiest of economies, oh, and did I mention that it has more garrisons as well as a higher fortification rating. (POSSIBLE: Hive worlds will have massive fortifications of potentially even 100,000 points, however once destroyed the very hive cities collapse and the world turns to its previous form, with a lot more tile blockers.
