AI auto rappelling
Hi, I read the direction on how to get ai units to rappell and it works....but how do I get them do rappell accurately on a building. I don't know what Position Asl is or how to use it because im kinda new at these stuff :P.

place a small or invisible object on top of the building via the editor (where you want them to rappel). Then, you can get the position asl using the command: getPosASL OBJECT_NAME

Hey Duda, i have been playing around with this mod a couple hours now and i can't get the AI to rappel from the chopper, i have tryed in vanilla arma3, where shall i write the linie " [Drop_Chopper,25,getPosASL Drop_place] call AR_Rappel_All_Cargo" shal it be in the Waypoint or in the INIT off the chopper..

Can someone do a video on AI auto rappelling. i don't know what to do or where to put the script.

First put all your units in the helicopter. Make sure the helicopter is named and place a waypoint anywhere. Get an invisble helipad and name it. Then use this code [HELI_NAME,25,getPosASL OBJECT_NAME] call AR_Rappel_All_Cargo and put it inside the waypoint(activation). So the code should be something like this: [Viper(name of heli),25,getPosASL invis(name of helipad or object)] call AR_Rappel_All_Cargo.

Got it to work, i just put it in the wrong init field, i put it in the chopper init field. Don't ask why, it works great.

for anyone reading this after these last string of updates it is no longer getPosASL, its changed to getPosATL

is there a waypoint which does all this, or do you have to do custom waypoints and triggers?

Awesomes mods, very well done.... i can get the an AI pilot to fastrope the cargo via way point, but am having trouble doing it from alpha radio trigger or even just blufor present trigger....

im the pilot, im still (even auto hover) under 25m and over flat ground....

is it even possible to do from trigger??
