Report a translation problem
As the war machine begins with most vehicles on the map at startup, the game also loads all the damage models for those vehicles into memory. Once factions are chosen, those not chosen, are deleted. But I don't think the x and xx damaged models are deleted. Therefore they remain in memory reducing the overall availavble memory during gameplay.
This seems to result in a tipping point where no amount of lowering graphics or anything seems to help, except, having less activity similtaniously on the map.
But this is more severe. After a chat with dev DJ, I am convinced that the changes made in the update regarding pre-loading has reduced available memory overall. And this is why it grinds down to a low fps much earlier with less entities than it used to.
