How Did You Photograph the Mat?
I've been considering adding some projects to Tabletop Simulator, and they include things like this were I can't scan the objects, so I would like to know how you cleanly got the image into the mod.

I see. I had a look at it before, but I noticed it was really fuzzy. You could use super resolution to improve the appearance.

Good lighting and a DSLR camera with a macro lens. (ring light or similar type of light for video making or photography). Take pictures of each section of the mat, moving the camera similar to a scanner, so that you have very high resolution images of all its parts. Then just stitch everything together in Affinity Photo or GIMP. That would be my suggestion if anyone would try to make their own from scratch.
