at 58 58 theres a big deep lake where you can find pearls and oil and also at the edge of redwoods seaside at the border of redwoods and that big mountain ,also many pearls at southeast corner of the map at the dessert beach, rare flowers i can not find at this point only have like 8 after more than a month ,but rare flowers come from red tailed flowers mostly growing on top of mountains, gl

There is a HUGE cave in the swam that is FILLED with those red stalked weeds that give rare flowers. There is also a LOT of metal, obsidian, and tons of crystal there which you can mine while you wait for the flowers to regenerate (they do so quickly).

It is our favorite resource point on the map. :) You can even move in.

The cave itself is safe for newbies except for the occasional critter that might wander in --- however GETTING to the cave (has two enterances) can be a bit tricky. ;)

Oh! That was the problem we had. For some reason our Theriz (who are suppose to be one of the very best in for rare flower collection according to ARK Wiki) won't collect rare flowers there either. We too have resorted to using our Ankleos.

I thought it was just us.

Here's a weird one (for me at least). Turns out HORSES can collect rare flowers in that cave just fne. I didn't think they were good for anything much but ours is keeping up on par with my ankleo. Go figure.

Any coordinates for this huge cave? Like others have said, it is a big map

Ummm...no. I'm not in the game at the moment. I'll try to remember to write them down when I play later and get back to you.

In the meantime, if you can locate the swamp (between the Redwoods and the large arch) and you dare venture in (flier would be advised), there is a cave in the center of it against the mountain. The water runs into it creating a pool in the cave. It is pretty safe inside, so even a beginner would not be in danger other then a stray critter wandering in.

There is a land enterance as well on the other side, but I have no idea how to describe it.

Tip: After you have collected them all, walk out of render distance for about 30 seconds and then go back. They will have all reappeared. Do this till you have what you need.

I play local server, but, only this spot on pvp servers will be a problem, because all players or tribes will lock the passage. I ask for some more spots since this map have a lot of montains and don't have supplies to survive (only metal and cristals).

What exactly is it I'm looking for once in the cave? BTW, this cave is not a safe place. Was nearly killed three times. Twice by a megalodon, once by several purlovis. Stuff in the cave, not stuff that just wanders in. The cave is at: 25/70, but maybe this is the wrong cave?

Crosspost, was writing this as you wrote the above. But still after looking around about 1/2 hour, no rare flowers. I found plent of red plants, but no rare flowers from them. Can't tell for sure without your coordinates if I was in the right spot or not though. I'm getting really bad lighting inside the cave and in only one spot can I really see much. It is all very low contrast for me. Can barely make out the stuff trying to kill me.

Looked closer at the screen shot above, I think it says 23.2 / 73.2. I found that spot, but strangely it is a cave entrance but looks different on my server. I'm no noob either, played about 3000 hours, and that cave really did almost kill me, but I have high health so lived. This is very frustrating, may give up on finding these rare flowers for now.

OK, I found some. At 48.8 / 71.6 there are some red plants. The odd thing I found, is getting the Rare Flower from them is random. I think about 1 in 10 times you press E, you get 50 or 100 Rare Flowers. Other times you get just berries. This is much closer to my base, so will be a good spot for me to get them.

Yea, we harvest ALL the red plants and maybe get 50 flowers. We walk away, let them respond, harvest again, maybe 50 again.

Guess that is why they call them "rare" flowers.

There are more red plants here and there around the map, but that is the largest concentration of them we have found.

Odd you found dangerous creatures in it. Though the water can of course have lethal swamp critters, we have never found anything dangerous in the cave itself. We even lived there for a long time, nothing ever spawned in it. I didn't even think Megalodons spawned in the swamp? Certainly never saw a Purlovia there. Strange.

And we play with a difficulty level of 35 with Extinction Core, not exactly an easy server.

Maybe a different cave? The cave Spiderbuff posted is the one I have been talking about.

i use a trike (poison trike) with a argentavis (prime agentavis) to farm these flowers and worked well. This cave have some retail dino spawns: Dimorphodon, Carno, Therizinosaurus. Is not safe there.

IF have another spot to farm these flowers, i don't know.

I can't seem to stay in the game today or I'd fly around and have a look. Keeps crashing to black screen. :( This is NOT the fault of the map, it is a known ARK issue right now.

i can fix that if you guys want? make it spit out a bit more. wasn't sure how hard or easy people wanted the rare stuff.
