THE ALCHEMIST SPEAKS - WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? - PLEASE READ
May was a bad month here...lets just get that out of the way now. I ran head first into an argument on here that i'm so ashamed of, it made me rethink all of this. I wasn't sure I wanted to make the maps anymore, it wasn't fun anymore...it turned into a day job...something I already have and love...so there was no need for another one.

I also am a bit fed up with the "entitlement" of some players...

EFFECTIVE IMMEDATELY - I am no longer coming on here to post or answer posts. i have hired a community manager that I wil be paying out of my own pocket from money from my DAY JOB. to handle this as I do not want to be on here anymore.

I find the forums on here for the most part, counterproductive to me and my needs. SO

I'm pulling out and focusing on the maps. While I did enjoy talking to a few of you and getting to know you, its keeping me from my priorites and has actually messed up a few causing major delays. (destructive environments, more bosses, boss areans...all pushed now)

so...I need to focus on the work and not the players for a while.
Other wise I will get nothing done and just continue to work on bugs and fixes...which is stupid at this point of development until i'm actually DONE building...which won't be for anothter 2 months on Skies.

Thieves is DONE building wise...I may add some bits and pieces for cool "wow" factor and setting but major building is DONE. DO NOT ASK for snow, DO NOT ASK for new biomes...it isn't happening on Thieves. the idea is mapped out, I am VERY happy with the results of my very first mod / map ever. let it go cause i'm not going to listen anyway.

On THIEVES... I do have a LOT of filling it all out and cleaning up to do. That is for sure, so I gotta get focused and get on that for you all...

HOWEVER..you SHOULD expect a LOT to break on Thieves from now until Sept...by Sept...it should be SOLID and final. Thieves Island is a very sensitive map. something broke on it very early in its dev cycle that isn't a critical bug (none of you have ever reported it) but its so fragile that if certain things are stacked on it in the graph...it crashes teh game 100% of the time. So...something that works on Skies...can in fact kill Thieves. because of this. I have to work REALLY slow on Thieves.

This isn't a debate or a discussion btw. I've made up my mind. this is how i feel and this is how it will be moving forward. if this isn't something you agree with or like...there are HUNDREDS of other mods...go...go play...
