Frustrations with the mod after a couple months of gameplay
This mod has some really nice concepts that make the game *so much better*. It really does liven up the game. However, there are some really frustrating things that bother me and makes some of my friends' preferred playstyle unreasonably impossible, which is worse, because I'm trying to convince him to like arma.

One time, I shot at an enemy with a subsonic and completely suppressed weapon (the ASP) from about 400 meters at midnight. Every AI within a large radius started shooting me after less than a second. Another time, I was 900 meters out with a MAR-10, I shot a dude, and his friend instantly turned and shot at me, ultimately one-hitting me. With a Katiba. Almost a kilometer out. Using a reflex zeroed to 200 meters. BS. (Fun fact: it says that the AI respond differently to suppressed gunfire. Ha.)

They can also shoot through smoke with unaffected accuracy. Even if they don't see you enter it, they'll start shooting you through it, making smoke grenades useless for anything other than identifying a location to teammates. This is especially frustrating when friends (frequently) die out in the open and I cannot safely revive them.

Minelaying is also ridiculous. These idiot will walk right up to you, shouting along the way, to put mines down. Often times, I'll just have a field of dead people in front of me, all of whom have mines and a mine detector. It looks incredibly stupid.

AI also heal themselves, which is very good, but they choose to do so in the dumbest places. I can be shooting someone 20 meters outside of a building, pause o reload, and when I look back out, the idiot's FAKing himself in the exact same place with no cover. I've also seen them do it in wide-open field type things, in the middle of a road, while his buddy 10 or so meters away is getting murdered with machinegun fire, you get the gist.

The ragdoll feature seems to have made the AI have like three times the health. My friends and I knock them down 4+ times before they actually die. The concept of ragdolling when hit is pretty nice, though; but apparently now they can take a dozen or more 5.56 with only level 3 armor.

All this crap is making me have a lot of difficulty to continue using this mod. It makes the AI smarter in some ways, much dumber in others, and unreasonably powerful in others yet.
