AI team mates dissappearing along with objectives after mission start
As soon as I start the mission, almost all of the AI dissappear, along with the mission objectives I was just given. Anyone else experience this? I've gotten one DRO mission done right before this occured.

The problem keeps occuring no matter how many times we restart. I've tried different maps with DRO, but, no fix yet. My mods are CUP, RHS, MCC(not using it within a DRO mission though), and a few gear addones for further info. This is the only major issue I've had with DRO after like 9000000 hrs, so I'm not too mad ;)

I am having the same issue on the Taunus DRO. I use a ton of mods too. DRO usually interacts with everything well.

I don't think it's mods, it might just be some fluke thing. The only other problem I had was sometimes, my friend would spawn off map. Other than that, it's just this new development. Thankfully, I'm not the only one, so I'm sure we'll resolve it.

Having the same issue too. I was able to reproduce it on Altis and Tanoa as well. Random AI teammates and objectives not loading at mission start. I am only using the below mods and built-in Arma factions.

I will also send RPT files tonight, without mods. I haven't recieved any error mesages or anything, so I'm curious as to what is actually happening. I have had this happen on 6 different maps. Fallujan, Kunduz, Isla Abramia, Altis, Tanoa, Isla Duala. With a few restarts to the mission, it would resolve. But still just a tad annoying.

@NecroBarl, Are you confirming you have had this happen with no mods loaded? I hadn't tested with no mods yet.

I ran another DRO mission (on Australia this time.) My AI and tasks all loaded correctly. However, no OPFOR loaded in the map on this go.

Hi guys, apologies I didn't see this discussion earlier - with some help over on the test version of DRO I pinned what sounds like these issues down to the way that C2 interacts with the player group. As far as I can tell it would join the players to a different group, presumably one that C2 would run on, and that would cause the mission generation progress to stall if it happened at the wrong time. The fact that you guys are reporting different variations of the problem and that it's inconsistent is probably down to whatever listener C2 has to check the player group operating on a slight delay or just natural differences in processing speed.

Anyway, hopefully it should be fixed as of the latest update, I'm actually subscribed to this discussion now so please let me know how you get on with it here. I've made a fairly broad fix so if there are other mods causing the same issue it should also fix it for those too and hopefully they should continue to run - I've tested C2 and that seems to work fine at least.

When you say C2, are you referring to the mod C2, Command and control? I have that mod running. Last night, I played 2 missions and they worked fine. (FATA terrain). This was around 2100 pacific time. I forgot to try this without mods.

Thanks for all your effort and work on DRO mbrdmn. I hadn't been able to follow up on my previous posts but was starting to suspect C2.

NecroBarl(OperatorBarl) - Yeah, C2 Command and Control. It could possibly have squeezed through the load sequence without issue, that's the tricky thing about a problem like this and why I didnt catch it earlier - it can sometimes throw an error up 90% of the time and sometimes only 20%.

Let me know how you both get on with the (hopefully) fixed version :)

Thank you for all of your work on this. I have burned countless hours on your missions. I just ran a couple of missions and it ran well on FATA, but Taunus did not load the tasks. But, I have been having problems with that map in every scenario. Also, your update may not have pushed through yet. I'll give it another run later this evening.

Also, when starting with the parachute drop. My player and the AI are all in a normal fighting stance aiming their weapons horizontally! As long as I pull my chute all turns out fine.

Everything worked great this evening.

Ran some ops last night with C2 and had no issues with disapearing AI squad mates. Thanks again.

Same thing. All is well now. I can't even imagine how much work you put into this so almost any mod can work with DRO.
