No Orion visitors or caravans
Hi, it seems after starting a new game in B19, Ive not been receiving any traders or even visitors. I dont believe I have any other mods installed that would conflict and they do have bases on the world map.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

It must be another mod you have installed, I have a number of mods and haven't had an issue with visitors. Orion tends to attack me every month or two.

Same for me, attacks are not the problem, but trading caravans and stuff.
Are there even friendly Orion factions on your map? I only have hostile Orion Companies
Not sure if related but in my game I just got this error and haven't seen any Orions so far ingame:

I cannot get them to visit me once I have turned them off hostile. If they start the game neutral, they will visit. If they start hostile and I turn them neutral, they will throw up error messages every time the game gets them to attempt to visit.

I get the exact same error and actually have since A18.

Anything from an Orion faction just won't visit my colony.

It's been posted about many time before, but the author doesn't seem to to want to look into it.

in debug log, i have this log line (game version = v1.0) :

FactionDef OrionCo must have at least one pawnGroupMaker with kindDef 'Peaceful', or 'permanentEnemy', 'isPlayer' or 'hidden' must be set to true. This is a misconfiguration in Glitter Tech.

Yeah, I'm seeing the same error. That explains the lack of visitors and such.

Also start throwing that error not long ago and don't even see any orion faction bases on my map

I added this automatic error to Hospitality to point out factions that are not configured correctly and will cause problems down the line. I'm tired of modders copying incorrect defs from other mods and then getting the blame for visitors not working.
Doesn't help that the faction that doesn't work right has my name on it :P

FYI: For the players nothing changes. You can safely ignore the error. The faction will be as broken as it was before. But hopefully it will encourage some modders to fix the defs.
