How do I get the prosthetics from this mod to work with races from Xen's Vulpine pack?

Basically the title. I have a vulpine colonist who I want to turn into a supersoldier by giving them several bionics including an orion exoskeleton. The option to add the skeleton doesn't show up in the surgery menu though. I found mod to do it but it doesn't work. Any ideas?
