How to detonate impaction charge?

There is no button to detonate when I click on it, and I've tried shooting it, setting it on fire, disconnecting and reconnecting power, I can't figure how to make this thing go boom. Is it a bug?

Same issue. I tried shooting it and it spawned a steam geyser - bug?

thats what they do it to make steam

there are two of them. one is for creating geyser by shooting it, the other is to figth mechanoids and there is a button to detonate it
