Expanded Gibbed Characters
Updated version: How to Remove Limbs.
Sorry for the VERY long delay, I forgot about my old post. Anyways, let's dispense the pleasantries and get right to it!

So, first you want to find the headless model of the character you want to wound. For this instance I chose Pyro: https://imgur.com/a/6sUlASt

Good so far? Nice (reply #1 if you're not)

Next, enable the character's regular head by selecting the proper body group. Example: https://imgur.com/a/pnZEcQX

Having troubles? No, that's good (If you are, reply #2)

Next, choose the limb(s) you want to wound. Go to the bodygroups like you did last time, but instead of choosing the head, choose the limb(s). You can choose a short wound (A shorter limb), or a long wound (a longer wound).

All good? Great. (reply #3 if you aren't)

In the following image I chose a short wound for his right leg and a long wound for his long leg. https://imgur.com/a/i07pZFl

Congratulations, your character is now wounded, in other words, you removed his limbs. Well done!

#2 The scout model doesn't have a normal head, it just says head_gib, head_gib2, and none.

Ok, so it seems that some of the models don't have the option to simply set a normal head, so here's a complicated way of doing it:

Alright, so instead of selecting normal, choose none, it should look like this: https://imgur.com/nvW3ViJ

Good? (reply A1 if you're not)

Great, now spawn a new model of the character, it should just be the head, here's the version for scout: https://imgur.com/5lH7190

Going smoothly? Nice! (A2 if it's not)

Here's where it gets complicated...

Now, copy the motion samples from the headless model, and paste it onto the head model. It seems confusing, so here's are images showing the process:

Great, now lock the neck bone of the gibbed model to the neck bone of the head model, like so: https://imgur.com/9uVj4oG
(A4 if it's not working)

Finally, you can hide the selection menu of the head model so that it doesn't get in your way while animating/posing the actual model. You can always turn it back later for facial expressions!

(A5 if something's wrong)

Nice job, now continue with the 3rd part of the original guide and everything should work out well.

Oops, I dropped the wrong link for part A4, here's the correct one: https://imgur.com/a/QL4nEHH
Wow, thanks! I could never figure that out, I would have assumed you're the one who made the models!

literally everything is broken about the gore part of the model lmfao, scout's entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jaw is just the shirt texture and i don't know how to fix it lol
a4 and A3, what the hell did you do, i'm triying to put a head on gibbed engi, but #1, you did some witch craft in A3, and A4, i linked the neck and turned the neck to test, and the bloody engi head won't turn, just the head of the gibbed engi with no damn head, his hardhat just turns, HELP, PLEASE!
update:tried brute forcing it, found out gib head's face and goggles are for some reason locked, i can move the whole model just fine, but move anything that would also move engineer's head, it would look like i just melted his face
Engie's head is very broken. Please, fix it
