Mod Options
It would be cool if there were mod balancing options.

I really like this mod, but sometimes the plasteel costs can be really steep. You need about 80 plasteel to make a bionic arm/leg. That's several walls worth!

I think there should be a way to config the cost of the materials (maybe a multiplier slider, rather than fixed number cost). Personally, I think it would be balanced to also be able to modify the work cost for making this stuff. Making a super complex arm (with less resources) should take way more time.

Agreed - thell, the table to make them costs 150 plasteel!!! That's prohibitively expensive
its very easy to get 1000's of plasteel with the long range scanner
The long range mineral scanner, vanilla, can hardly get you 1k plasteel. Unless you're using a mod to expand the size of long range scanner mineral finds, or are using a mod to uncap mining yield, you cannot get a lot of plasteel quickly with a long range scanner (altho its much faster than a deep drill). Factor in the caravan time, unless you're using SRTS or something similar, and it becomes a horribly lengthy process.

Also, plasteel is used in so many high-tech recipes that it's really not hard to run out very quickly and very often.

I actually find that plasteel is so hard or tedious to craft that I usually opt to buy it.
Seriously, Rimefeller, RimFactory, even mods that let you straight up craft plasteel are not enough for any decent or not-super-slow inflow of plasteel.

However, I think that the issue for me still stands: the costs for crafting some bionics is just silly. I would much rather have a higher work cost than a higher resource cost. Considering how limbs go flying and break all the time in Rimworld, bionics aren't something you craft once and forget about forever, either.
