I played United States with New World Order Mod, and it started the game with no army at all and only about 90 manpower. In constrast, without the mod U.S. starts with about 35,000 manpower and about 20 land divisions. I built ships of various sizes but I could not deploy any of them. The production screen said I did not have enough manpower to deploy one destoryer. If I remember, the U.S. had the 17th largest army in 1936. Still, the mod seems to make the U.S. unrealistically helpless militarily.
However, when using the mod the U.S. is vastly more politically active. Without no mod, the U.S. earns 0 politcal points per day. With the mod, the U.S. gets .6 political points per day. Even though U.S. was isolationist, it would seem U.S. would have some political influence so the mod makes thing more historically realistic in terms of politics.

Hey there!

Do you have any mods enabled? If so try disabling those, especially any that involve the USA.

If not, are you playing on the hardest mode? That is a bug I hope to rectify tonight.
Just gave the usa a quick go and while i am not an usa expert i am pretty sure the startup is the same. About the second part well i've mentioned that as well but from what i've gathered the mod is not to the balancing part just yet?

Again, this is a MOD CONFLICT.

I just loaded into NWO with all difficulty levels. At each of them, I had roughly 300K available mp as the USA in the 1936 start.

To explain this conflict again, I need to modify the Great Depression National Idea so the United States does not start with -25% total manpower. As a result, any other mod that makes changes to the USA ideas in any way, shape, or form, will render the USA unplayable.
