Question regarding the relic from Into the Depths archaeological site
Why is there a hidden effect for the Cubortob Unil Omoth giving +30 minor artifacts after every activation? Took me some time to find out why my minor artifacts seemed to be increasing somehow.

Actually a good question. I made that event, but I have absolutely no clue why the minor relics are in the hidden effect. I mean I could somewhat explain, why I may have thought it to be a worthwile addition to the timed country modifier as that might have looked a litte meh on its own, but it should in any case be visible.

Any thoughts about wether the minor artifacts should be there at all or not?

I think the effect should be visible, for sure, since minor artifacts are a very rare resource (at least in vanilla standards) and the players needs to have that information to better take their decisions. And regarding the effect itself, it is very OP in my opinion. It makes much easier to unlock the gateways and add too much value for the relic for just 150 influence points. Maybe the amount could be reduced or even be a first time activation effect only.

so what are the effects of this relic? because it has the passive effect listed as +0 influence, and thats it. the active effect is inspiring craftsmanship modifier, and +10 minor artifacts

It actually gives 0.5 influence or so, but it got rounded down in tooltip.

I've been wondering for a while, is this archaeology site a reference to something? I get the feeling the aliens are supposed to be space dwarves or something like that, but I'm not 100% sure.

If one knows the game being referenced, the references are about as subtle as a slegde hammer to the face. And yes, it's about dwarves.

Wait, dont tell me its a reference to Dwarfs!? the management game. that was the ♥♥♥♥. if it is the game, that would make sense, but i dont understand the living metal, "why didnt you dodge" and well, the relic in general. So if not, what is it a reference to?
