Luminous Flame
There is a system called Luminous Flame where there are Unbidden-type of hostiles in the system and a single Gaia planet with primitives on it. Every time I kill the Unbidden type enemies, they respawn over and over and it is unlimited respawning after killing them. Is it supposed to be like that? I cannot build an outpost on the system when the hostiles are in the system, it won't let me even if I had a cloaked science ship survey the system while I keep defeating the hostile fleet that endlessly respawns. So I am guessing the ability to stop the hostile fleet from respawning is tied to capturing the pre-ftl Gaia planet? Not possible because the endlessly respawning hostiles prevent building an outpost on it. In order to invade pre-ftls you need to have it be inside your borders. How are you supposed to conquer this system with an enemy that respawns no matter how many times you kill them?

When you say "kill them" you do mean the normal way by sending one of your fleets and defeating them in combat, correct?

The event is progressed by an on_action fired when the fleet ist defeated. If it isn't defeated by a human empire, a new fleet is spawned.
