Excellent mod. I LOVE the obsidian and crystal tool concepts. Always found the game lacking that metal was the best you can make, considering there are other materials in the world you can craft from. Looking forward to seeing these in game.

Question: In your mod image there is a torso armour icon featured. What armour is that. I cannot find anything in your notes about it. Is it obsidian armour?

If it is, great! What are the details?

If it is but not introduced, are you going to make your own mesh/textures for the armour? Or will you do something like making Obsidian look like Flak Armour and Crystal to look like Tek Armour (If available, or like Chitin if Tek is not an option.)

I have actually done a full set of obsidian armor already, my current issue and reason i didn't included it in this release was the "skin mapping to bone" which is a slow process for myself since I suck at 3D modeling and it takes time do do even the basics.

ISSUE: the armor(parts of it) get a little dislocated when crouching and other animations since i didn't remaped the skin to bones perfectly

As I said, i suck at 3D modeling, so if you look closely, all the 3d models I added are something already existing in ARK just modified (Keratin Pick head are two trike skin helmet horns glued together, the Keratin sickle head is a part of a trilobite and a full trilobite and parts of it are part of the obsidian armor set :P

But yeah, to answer you question, i will probably first add the armor pieces with already existing meshes just re-textured, and over the time switch them back with custom meshes. this will give you guys time to play and balance the items together with me ;)

There is the "Obsidian Multi Tool", which is Scythe + Pick + Hatchet all in One, depending in what mode it is it will look different (it will rotate the tool in the hand so tat the scythe part is facing forward or pick or Axe)

u could add the ccamo dye doe

There are already a lot of mods out there with this functionality, and to be honest, I would rather not add anything to this mode which makes taming easy (with the exception of knocking it down a little bit more easier than just with tranq arrows, something close to the tranq dart [a little strong or weaker but around that difficulty]).

The mod is more focused at utilities for farming and melee combat. Stuff which will help you survive even in case that dinos are not tamable.

If there are no fitting mods for easy tames, or someone has a good idea for playing with dino states and taming difficulty which is not already existing in a working state, I would consider making it but in a separated mod.

Hey man i was talking to u the other day and were running ur mod on our server atm things are going great, i do have something i would love to see. I think that u can make it happen too.
I want armor for my dinos =D i mean custom slots on the saddles so i can choose to add spikes or plating to my bronto. if its for actual effect or just looks i dont mind to start. But its so cool to see dinos with armor and weapons or sorts on them, and not just 1 type for each dino have them with a standard saddle but many attactchments so im different to my mates and so on =D let me know would love to see it happen.

I have something already in mind for this, but don't expect it soon. As with the player armor, this part is also time consuming to create, but i definitely want to do something in this direction added to this mod.
