Were we going to get some kind of notification about this?

I see nothing in the forums. Nothing in the changelogs. Nothing on the front page. Nothing that would have hinted at the existence of these things except for the server settings post, which otherwise did nothing to reflect any changes whatsoever...

...and then there's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor boss-looking whatever with a glowing sword and shield making a beeline for my dinosaurs and slaughtering them in seconds.

Again...no notification, no warning whatsoever. My server files were overwritten without my knowledge or consent. I lost several difficult tames, am loathe to cheat them back, and had to cheat anyway just to kill the damn orc.

I play ARK for the dinosaurs. If I want orcs, I'll go play Skyrim. F****k world of warcraft forever.

I downloaded this mod for one thing, and one thing only: the Indominus Rex. These stupid orcs belong in a separate mod, under a separate title.

Were it not for this mod's functionality, I would have unsubscribed, and would be actively recommending to everybody who would listen against downloading it or continuing its use.

I would have reported it for anything I could possibly have reported it for, and attempted to have it taken off of Steam Workshop permanently. Purely out of spite to the author.

I can tolerate a lot of things, but not this behind-my-back bullsh****t that changes my server in ways that I was not prepared for, and had no way of preparing for until after the fact.

That is patent negligence on part of the mod author, Pegi16. I hope in light of this post that they'll make changes on the mod's front page, changelogs, and forum posts to PROPERLY warn people about these changes.

Yes, I am completely serious. No, I am not sorry for anything. If you only came here to tell me why you think I'm wrong (I'm not), or to laugh at me (right back at you), or to incessantly parrot idiotic prepubescent internet catchphrases (go to hell), then you can bend over, place your head between your knees, and shove it right back up your sh***thole where you had it.
